So I've played Aetolia for a short time (didn't like it), and played Achaea for a few years, starting to get quite bored of it.
I played a Vampire on Aetolia, and I played a Snake/Mage on Achaea.
If I were to move to Lusternia, probably for PK and maybe bashing to level 99, what race/class would everyone recommend?
Also, what's the roleplay like for various cities and Guilds etc..? All comments are welcome.
Thanks.

I've only ever been a Geomancer. Sure I've been a Geomancer for a while now.. but I don't really think I can speak for anyone else. RP -does- vary.. though it seems to be generally pretty good in Magnagora. Bashing wise.. apparently the warrior archetypes have it easy. Go to Glomdoring. They need good players right now, and they've got some nice RP set up

Warriors a subpar to start with when bashing, wiccans are pretty ok the whole way through (love nymph) dunno bout the rest. But..meh I had something insightful to say but I lost it.

Viscanti Geomancer all the way

heh.. you reckon?

All of the classes are pretty well-balanced for PK.
For bashing, warrior or telekinetic mage.

Insofar as I can tell, the best bashing for warrior would be Serenguard/Ebonguard with Moon/Night (due to Drawdown/Nightkiss, both for the resistances and the +10 boost to weapon stats that this entails). Preference swinging towards Ebonguard, due to Shadowlord Faelings.

If you have the intention of being extremely PK intensive here, you'd probably have to go Warrior... They have the best options for affliction causes, etc... I think Ebonguard for the Shadow Faelings would be best for speed...
Along with that, you wouldn't be too bad off for hunting.

Sorry to say it, since you are probably tired of speed knights in Achaea and the occasional in Aetolia, but that's where it's at for bashing around here.
Aslaran Serenguard/Ebonguard with a two handed specialization (blademaster or bonecrusher) and moon/night for the aura. I know this may sound like gibberish right now, but get in the game and it'll all come together.
Join the Serenguard, btw. The ebonguard already have a demigod

Taking inactive people into account now? tsk.
In any case, you should consider maybe testing with various guilds - you have timespans in which you can do this with little to minimal lesson loss.

Go Ebonguard, theyre amazing for warrior guilds. It seems like they have a pretty weak race for their specialization but theyre incrediably fast, Crow has some amazing skills and Night is for enhancing yourself. Plus, youre free to more hunting places as the entire Commune is pretty much a hunting ground
Edit: Plus they have good RP

As it seems you can go from the portal to level 62 in under 24 hours of play, using influence to level up, any class with good influencing skills and your set to go up in levels.

My advice would be as Viravain said and try things out. I like warriors so thats what i chose from the start. It's worked out great and i have been in Paladins and Serenguard. Had alts in every other guild though. I think you should go more for your choice than power gaming, and try to have fun with it. Even the so called worst guilds have great offensive abilities.

The problem is influencing to lvl 100.
Strakc2006-01-08 17:04:30
The guys at level 78 from it still... he isn't having much of a problem getting up there...

If you're looking for a theme similiar to your past characters, you might want to took into the guilds within Magnagora - the Ebonguard, the Nihilists, or the Ur'Guard.

Don't go guardian if you want to make a high level. Cosmicfire is the -worst- bashing skill.. trust me, I can tell.

Cosmicfire may be the worst, but Guardian skills are some of the coolest I think (especially Nihilists). Look at the top 4 people, none of them are warriors. I'd say your best bet for bashing would be to go mage with Telekinesis. You have the best damage output and can even be pretty tanky.

Yea top 4 right now are non worriors, but Gruhk and Melanchthon are inactive and they would be there. And 5th is Daevos, i'm 6th and Argilent, Ixion, Sudoxe, Stagar and Diamante are warriors too. You were warrior too.
