Nyla you forgot Charlize Theron in Aeon Flux falls in that basket too - Hollywood doesn't seem able to get the grasp on the fact that without a decent storyline shoving an Oscar winning actress in skimpy clothes will not sell a movie.

And Alba = teh sucks. Kate Beckinsale would make a better Wonder Woman than Alba any day of the week. For proof, see below (The last two are probably the best of the lot but I posted them all just cos I could).

After seeing Asarnil's pictures of Kate Beckinsale, I have to agree with him. But heroine movies never seem to have much success anyways.

As far as Jessica Alba goes, she's the numero uno sexy lady in USA.

Show me ANY heroine movie with a DECENT plot that failed. I rest my case.

I still want Eliza Dushku, just because I was a big Buffy fan..but I dunno..looks like Kate Beckinsale could rock Wonder Woman.

Not Jessica Alba though. People, look past the pretty! I'm not saying she is a terrible actress, but there are others who could do so much better! And yes, there have been a lack of good movies about gal heroes. It's sad. Especially because I really liked Catwoman (Michelle Pfeiffer yay), and now it is all..corrupted and sucky. Damn yooou Halle Berry. (I'm still grousing over the fact that the villain in Catwoman was a woman who put on too much makeup. )
