So who here has played Fallout?

This is mostly out of idled boredom, but has anyone ever realized the whole light-taint situation considering the release of the taint and whatnot is like a nuclear war. The taint unleashes, causes the viscanti (mutated other races, whatnot). Deforms things into decayed/unliving forms of what it had once been. Sound familiar?

So that makes Magnagora and Glomdoring kind of like the mutants and radioactive zombies, and Serenwilde is sort of like a group of tribals that escaped from Vault 13 (or the underground vault people ran into to escape the taint), which is Celest.

That means somewhere out there, there's a vault dweller. A chosen one. (And that's what lusternia ascension is all about right? The chosen one will eventually wield that sword of seals to fight kethuru back down or some such, and of course all the people who want kethuru out)

Been said several times ingame, and most people could tell you this, Kethuru is so entwined within Creation that he cant be destroyed without destroying creation. And a lot of the older players know what its like to have someone fighting him.

Otherwise, yes, sometimes it seems like the taint is some form of radiation. The Astral insanity in the discussion was put down to some form of radiation, and well see how that turns out in full I guess. If youve seen the creatures of Glomdoring you can see it really is like radiation, giant spiders, giant wasps, giant beetles, zombies come as serpintine and I cant remember what the other type is but its pretty much a zombie dwarf. The trees of the old Commune walk and they can attack, bushes walk around, hell the grass walks around >.> the main denizens (Brennan, Rowena, Lady Spider, etc.) either look like skeletons or walking corpses. Also, if you look into the histories Rowena, Brennan and the Circle of Druids forcefed Gib Taint which turned him into the Wyrm.

Fallout is the pimp game. Its one of the best futuristic rpgs i have ever played. which reminds me, i am going to go play it right now.
