I don't know, something useful but not overpowering in 1v1 combat. Perhaps the ablitiy to pull up a prismatic barrier like trueheal without the trueheal effects, or something of good use.

EDIT: champion artifacts are one of lusternia's original features, so removing them takes away from the originalitiy a little bit, hence a utility artifact rather than a direct 1v1 pvp measure.

champion helm gives a 75% affliction rate (if i could keep one thing about the helm, this would be it) small bonus to damage, medium bonus to wounding and small bonuses to speed and defence.

for its purpose champ helm = amaru's artifact in terms of pvp usefulness for the beholder.
Amaru's pet has always been overpowered, i have suggested many times to nerf all champ items to one low base standard, but its a native lusternian thing and therefore should be kept as part of the game.

Yes, you stand for the guild publically. Thing is you can't defend or seek vengence for a guildmate if someone goes:

Hence, having the abillity to appear at people via stelath makes for so much more of a fear factor.

I like stealthiness and the 'where did HE come from' effect. I also like utility artifacts.
I don't like having a useless champ artifact, since i had one for so long and it did nothing i'm still feeling underloved in that department.
Give us some cool champ arti effect, even if its a customised entrance and shout. I just like new shiny and useful things...even a once per hour ability to make you unable to be scried for 10 mins out of an hour.

Rescue is amazing all on its own and it'd be serving its most basic purpose- To save your guildmates. Goes over mono and you have balance/eq on arrival. Champ arties would be fine with just that.

Replace Champion arties with Relics. Relics come in two types: Aligned, and unaligned.
Aligned Relics are specifict to one city/commune and are usually given out by a denizen of that city/commune: The Sword of Methrenton, a piece of Hart's antlers, a feather of Crow, etc. They can be bestowed by the city leader to any city member, and return to the denizen once the member dies or quits. Bestowing an artifact costs power from the city nexus.
Unaligned Relics can be stolen basically by taking them and dropping them on another city's reliquary. If the thief takes too long, they reset to their reliquary (So nobody can have a relic for himself). They are bestowed by city leaders in the usual way, but don't cost Power to bestow. Most relics would be guild-neutral; people of any archetypes would be able to use them.]
