Divine Law of Anticlimactic Ascension
No matter how hard you work to reach demigod or titan, half of them will mysteriously dissappear immediately afterwards.

Sponge Toy Man Law
If a newbie kills a high level person, they will always shoot up several levels, even if they were just standing around trying to reincarnate.

The "Am I Overdressed for This Party?" Rule
Everyone wears armour or large robes no matter if they're sleeping, eating, at a party, or in Ialie's manse.

Corollary to The "Am I Overdressed for This Party?" Rule
Newbies are always naked, usually for some time after they are no longer newbies.

The Don't Go There Rule
Asking to have your figurine packed always means exactly what they said.

The Fading of the Oldies rule - 90% of those who joined something within the first week of it opening vanish mysteriously within 12 months.
Richter2006-01-09 20:26:38
Most people vanished within 12 months, didn't they? Look at all the new people we have...

Scary, isn't it? fear.gif

24) Leonias' Principle of Selective Memory: You kill a thousand foes, and nobody says "There goes a great warrior." You make hundreds of cartel designs, and nobody goes "He's a great tradesman" when he sees you. But you do one little obscene emote...

51) Ialie's Theory of Lusternian Relationships: Anyone who says they only enter the realms to see you will soon suffer inactivity.

I really hope that isn't true unsure.gif

I still fail to see what that has to do with jealousy. Not that it matters, but the law wasn't even my idea - I just agreed with it, and being the only active Serenwilde Patron for a long time I was the only one around to enforce it.

Even though the actual reason why you and Raezon enforce those laws probably isn't jealousy, it's funnier to say it is, at least to me, because it sounds like you're acting like a jealous godess. Of course, Raezon is a much clearer example because she blows up places that have shrines of Elcyrion on them.

I say we see if we can't send Kethuru achaea's way, let them have fun too. biggrin.gif

The Super-Fungus Theory: An object or piece of equipment that was perfectly serviceable at the end of the month inevitably crumbles to dust at the stroke of midnight. A strange species of super-fungus is suspected as the cause.

Departure Paradox: People who say they are leaving on the forums and say goodbye usually don't go away. It's the one's that don't that leave suddenly and don't come back.

At least based on what I've seen on the forums...
Diamondais2006-01-11 02:26:29
Dia's understanding of Insanity: People start showing signs of it without being on Astral, theyre going to either a.)leave their Commune/City for the Commune/City that is opposite to their Communes/Citys ideals or b.) they are going to do something that makes them really well liked
Joli2006-01-11 02:58:52
Unlucky Rabbit's Syndrome: The state of constantly involuntarily causing, promoting, or interfering in a lot of unneeded drama.
Nymerya2006-01-11 15:43:43
The more pure logic in a statement, the harder it will be ignored.

Raezon is a She??? And I discover this after having played for almost a year, and haven't been in the forums for longer than that?
Manjanaia2006-01-11 20:14:56
Probably a typo.

Hey now. tongue.gif I assume that was directed partially at me.

I've been inactive (mostly) for about a week and a half. That's a record!

Though, I'm starting to feel better, and that Lusternia itch is coming back.
Unknown2006-01-12 00:48:41
Not really, I've seen Soll, Marina, Shiri, and others say they were leaving, with much forum sadness, then they come back.

I think when people think things are tough they want to say goodbye, then it turns out the crisis ends or they change their minds.

The ones who truly leave usually end up not saying goodbye, at least not here, anyway.
