QUOTE(Phred @ Jan 12 2006, 12:48 AM)
Not really, I've seen Soll, Marina, Shiri, and others say they were leaving, with much forum sadness, then they come back.

I think when people think things are tough they want to say goodbye, then it turns out the crisis ends or they change their minds.

The ones who truly leave usually end up not saying goodbye, at least not here, anyway.

That wasn't my fault. angry.gif angry.gif angry.gif

Oh, in your case, I know you didn't want to leave.

It's not meant to be judgemental. It's just I've noticed the people who leave suddenly never say goodbye (Skyla, Yrael, etc...)
Unknown2006-01-12 01:12:50
I still speak to Skyla, she just got bored of Lusternia and stuff.

Fighter's Law: If you ever lose it is because the winner's skills were overpowered, you were lagging, your system wasn't working, and/or you were afk.

Oops. I think I covered everything else though, besides their computer exploding or something like that..

Laysus' Law of Constant Fanaticism: In any organisation, there is a constant level of fanaticism. Therefore, the less fanatics there are, the more fanatic those remaining will be.

Laysus' Law of Fanatical Popularity: The less fanatics there are, the less people will like them.
Raezon2006-01-13 01:17:31
Mortal Law of God-relation Extremes: A mortal will fall into one of two categories, and only one of these two categories. Either the mortal will adore the God beyond belief, venerating their awesome power or the mortal will hate the God for demonstrating that their mortal self is not all powerful and consequentially the God could just sneeze the mortal away.
Laysus2006-01-13 01:22:48
What about the "Is censor.gif scared of all divine but doesn't hate them." one?

But I don't hate you.. and you tried to beat up my God.. but I don't love you either.. sleep.gif

I just think Elcyrion is better and like to taunt Nym with it. tongue.gif

What about the mortals that are either obsessed with all gods, or the ones that just don't really care about them because they think they're too strong willed to truly follow a god?

Oh, wait, I just described only two characters. Nevermind. tongue.gif
Unknown2006-01-13 05:32:45
I don't follow a god because none are fanatical enough for Laneth tongue.gif. I'm toning down the fanatics for now though so I can branch out a little and enjoy the game some more.

The "no matter how hard you try, you're just not good enough" law: You're not an average denizen if you haven't reached transcendant in at least 1 guild skill.

The novice rule: All fresh novices are automatically assumed to be unintelligent and/or interested in MUDSex.

Peeka fits into this one too. The first time she met Elycrion she was a spaz and couldn't think straight, and has an OCD moment with licking spores.
Unknown2006-01-13 17:04:43
Yeah Aiwendil, I join the cry of the "Creditless and bitter", Not average unless you Transed two things, perhaps three, heh.

Narses2006-01-13 17:26:23
99.9% of all novices will be 100000% of your might at the very instant they graduate.
p.s. unless the said novice is your protege
p.s2 try watching someone gulping down lessons near your favourite nexus, you'll understand the bitterness.

And all novices that you mentor are the ones that mudsex and not the ones that graduate and trans everything. Somehow I managed to get very unlucky and mentored the guy that likes to sit at the portals just to pick up chicks to mess with.

Yeah.. I don't like him too much..

Don't forget them making an alt because they are related to the person on their prime character. tongue.gif
