It's actually sad that a lot of the current playerbase does, too.

Law of Glomdoring Decay - It's all Daganev's fault.
Daganev2006-11-02 21:21:46
*peer* that is NOT what I said
It was in responce to that rule about leaders thinking everything was better when they were leaders, and all the problems exist because of the last leader.

Verithrax' rule: Necroing threads/subjects/accusations of treason since 2004.
Verithrax2006-11-02 23:30:41
That's not a rule.

It's a... something! A true something.

Ildaudid's Law of Trust - If someone is alone in a manse with your wife/husband. Kill them. It matters not if they were talking about making you a cake. They should know better.

Arix' principle on whining: When a lot of people are complaining about something very trivial, it's usually Verithrax that started it.

I'm sorry, but halfway through that, I could have sworn it was one of verithrax's threads

It's all right, could've happened to anyone. But it was still quite funny.

Arise, my undead minion!
Arix's Law of Metaphysical Debate: Any thread on religion, within ten minutes of being posted, will degenerate into several pages of argument between Verithrax and Daganev, and will likely end with Godwin's law being invoked
Faethyr's Addendum to Arix's Law of Metaphysical Debate: Daganev will NEVER make any sense.

I don't even get an honorable mention for religion threads?

EDIT: The Glomdoring Law of X: There are only two characteristics which identify an individual: the organization to which the individual is loyal, an the first letter of his or her name. Any individuals who share both of these traits can be considered one complex entity.
Corollary to the Glomdoring Law of X: Any such complex entity takes upon itself responsibility for any and all confusion ensuing from its existence. Responsibility does not, and will not ever, lie with the confused individual.

I can't believe I never saw this thread before. Awesome.
First Law of Lusternian Questing: The difficulty of a quest is directly proportional to its coolness factor, and inversely proportional to the amount of people who actually solved it.
Second Law of Lusternian Questing: Solving one part of the quest means that the second part will be unsolvable for one reason or another. As a corollary, finding a way around the first part of the quest and doing the second part first means that you will find out that the first part is still mandatory, but it will then somehow be rendered unsolvable.
Magnagoran Law of Specified Deathly Apathy: Regardless of how many people die to gravediggers, no one will ever take the time to write a city/college help scroll directing newbies away from the ever-useful shortcut to the Mountains.

I know you do, but we don't care about older citizens. We care about newbies and keeping them. Falling down a dark pit and being raped by a griefer mummy is not a nice gaming experience.

What are you talking about? Some of my favorite gaimes begin with being raped by a mummy in a dark pit!
