Hmm... so one person is incapable of telling others? Odd... isn't that how thing happen? *scratch*

What I'm trying to say, it's their own stupid fault for going in, -if- they already knew, which, apparently they did know it wasn't up. So, nothing at all to do with ego at all.

If you were Shikari, then yes. If you were Lisaera, then yes. If you were even Raezon, then yes!

But you are not. I should have to rely or even consider the word of an enemy to know when a village is or is not in play after a politics post clear displays it as being so. I didn't die. This isn't about me losing anything whatsoever, however, I was curious.

You will also note that because no one can influence the village, that post makes it appear to anyone who logs on that the village is in play. Are you telling everyone as they log on? What about 4 hours from now?
Munsia2006-01-11 08:26:34
unsure.gif dont bring me into this. I told them all
Shikari2006-01-11 08:51:39
Hmm.

A suggestion.

After the last round of problems with influencing, perhaps those concerned about such matters should make a habit of checking the POLITICS display before rushing in.
Ethelon2006-01-11 08:52:28
I'm not sure if there are any bugs here, it seems that due to the small event in Magnagora, the village was overthrown and the Great House contols it, which set the distortion of their enemies, of Angkrag. The village is still revolted, hense the political message, but it can't be influenced, which is why the village was removed from politics. Then again...I can be wrong and it's a misweave.

Notice anything missing? It isn't even listed. Unless this is some new "trick" display, there isn't much to be gathered. If you read a post that said a village was in play, you checked politics and noted it wasn't listed, you would simply not bother going to see what was going on?

I would assume that there was something strange occurring, and enter at my own risk in that knowledge, or I would assume that it was a bug if no perceivable roleplay reason came to mind.

I think it is a bit of both, no? In any case, the point I was making is that confusion in this case is likely. If this was intentional, then I am suggesting that care be taken to make it as obvious as possible to prevent this confusion.

Creating clarity in situations like these seems only positive to me, no? If it was intentional, then perhaps an alteration to the politics board that indicates it isn't "just another village rebelling," etc.
Ethelon2006-01-11 09:21:08
hehe, I think the fact that it had revolted hours before and not one person was there would make that clear. You guys started killing Orcs, so it's not as if you should expect not to suffer for it. I do agree though that it should have been made more clear when it revolted that it was event related or something.
Malicia2006-01-11 16:01:51
So no more free villages for Mag? This is neat.

Notice how the "M" in "My" is capitalized? Oversight, or an unavoidable by-product of the Divine possession involved in writing the post?
Daganev2006-01-11 19:05:28
The question is... Should everyone swear loyalty for the pure sake of world peace? I wonder....
Malicia2006-01-11 19:06:35
This will be interesting, at least.
Unknown2006-01-11 19:30:30
I wonder what they did to our city guards... our poor grand marshals! Someone think of the ladies!!
Daganev2006-01-11 19:32:48
Anyone know where the N'Rotri are hanging out? I can't seem to find them.
Shamarah2006-01-11 20:20:29
Oh, that's from an event? I thought it was just some newbie being stupid, heh.
Daganev2006-01-11 20:26:57
i did too, untill I tried to sent him a message saying how much of an idiot he/she was. Then I realized its the name of a mob.

Oh no.. oh haaailll no.

If this has ANYTHING to do with all the mess Magnagora is going through this Empress is going to WISH we left her cruicified and venomlocked in Nil with slit arteries and left to bleed to death!

*/IC mode*

Man I wish I could play more.

It isn't uninfluenced, it's under the influence of the n'Rotri-Empire.
