I got an error when I bought credits last night too (on the final screen that's usually a confirmation screen), though I got the credits, and I believe the $40 was deducted.

Same, almost. Got the error and figured I'd just try again later. Checking online banking showed a "'memo' transaction" marked for the amount. Didn't get an email about the purchase though (I could swear I got an email when I purchased credits before ... am I misremembering?), and certainly no credits. Can't call customer service at the bank for another 4-5 hrs, even if I knew what to say...

It should be fixed now. Looks like it was IRE-wide, perhaps a problem on the bank's site. (Not sure since I didn't fix it myself.)
