Queen Maeve of the Fae says, "Well, then. Are we ready, you two?"
Butter Sweetpease nods her head emphatically.
Perriwinkle, a tall, dark-haired fae says, "Yes."
Butter Sweetpease exclaims, "Yes!"
Queen Maeve of the Fae reaches out to touch the walls of the tree around Her.
Queen Maeve of the Fae smiles as her fingers glow slightly as the wall itself seems to respond to her touch.
Queen Maeve of the Fae withdraws her hand and the glow seems to fade.
Queen Maeve of the Fae surveys the room, stopping to take in all of the guests.
Queen Maeve of the Fae says, "As is tradition with fae weddings, we bring in a maypole, bless it, and then conjure and attach the two streamers to the pole."
You see Queen Maeve of the Fae yell, "We are ready, Knights, please bring it in!"
Two large fae knights strut in, bearing upon their shoulders a tall wooden maypole. They stop and kneel before Queen Maeve, bowing their heads respectfully.
The two fae knights stand and walk towards the couple, stop and bow deeply to them before planting the maypole in front of them before slowly exiting the room.
Queen Maeve of the Fae casually cups her hands together and blows across the palms and a glittery mist solidifes around the log of wood, transforming the deep brown wood into a deep violet.
Two streamers, one a bright, vibrant green and the other a light, crystal blue, poof into existence at the top of the maypole and shimmer as they cascade to the bottom.
Queen Maeve of the Fae smiles at the couple.
Butter Sweetpease stares in awe at the spectacle, switching from Queen Maeve's side to the maypole.
Queen Maeve of the Fae says, "We are gathered here today to witness these two fae set out upon an endeavor that will last for all eternity."
Queen Maeve of the Fae says, "As is our honoured tradition, I ask the bride and groom to be to stand at their respective sides and grab hold of their streamers."
Butter Sweetpease walks over to the green streamer, her eyes twinkling as she watches Perriwinkle.
Perriwinkle, a tall, dark-haired fae walks over to the blue streamer, his smile stretching from ear to ear.
Narsrim sniffles softly.
The two fae, grasping the streamers in their left hands, launch themselves a few inches into the air and begin to circle around each other, their eyes continually focused on each other as their streamers intertwine.
Perriwinkle, a tall, dark-haired fae stares at Butter, his wings flapping rapidly and a sheen of sweat covering his face.
Queen Maeve of the Fae says, "As the streamers intertwine, so do their lives. The green, like the colour of the forest, represents growth. Growth of their love, growth of their relationship, and, hopefully, growth of their family. The blue,
the colour of the seas, represents change and fluidity."
Queen Maeve of the Fae says, "Change is a necessary part of the life, change for the better, change for the worse. This wedding is but one example of a definite, positive change."
Glitter falls from the streamers as the two lovers wend their way around the maypole, seeming to notice nothing but each other.
When the couple has finally completely wrapped their streamers around the maypole, they firmly attach the streamers to it and, both blushing immensely, share a small, but meaningful, kiss.
Queen Maeve of the Fae exclaims, "Congratulations, you two. May your lives be as happy as they are long. Congratulations to Butter and Perriwinkle Sweetpease!"
Aww.

Other chatter around the wedding, and the events just afterward, were interesting too. I got everything logged from the time I arrived.

Heh, events seem to start cropping up like this once I get back into doing my schoolwork and stuff and don't have as much time in game... heh
