I don't like the idea of the esteem system. I hope nothing like that gets implemented.

I remember logging on to Aetolia one day to have a friend jump on me and say "Do this for this person." It's so easily abused.

Shakaya. I'm sorry you're having Magnagoran difficulties, though I'm afraid that I'm not awash with sympathy. Whatever the rights or wrongs of it, anything that's said here will usually get back to the game eventually... not necessarily directly.. but if a person tells a person.. that barrier between OOC and IC can get blurred... and while not particularly nice.. it's inevitable. Best thing is to keep all private stuff away from the forum until someone busts you.



The problem with this is... it will be reasonably assumed that because you have joined Magnagora, you share Magnagora's views. You did, after all repeat outloud the Magnagoran oath listed on CHELP OATH (and if you didn't your inducter needs spanking). Acknor is currently a Magnagoran province, and as a good furrikin, you surely want to bring as many of your brethren to the proper way? Servitude to the true cause of the basin is not servitude but perfect freedom.

Ahh... you need to meet Kaya obviously. She feels bad just using the weaken and paranoia influencing skills. She's guildless and can't kill things, and kidnapping furrikin (although in her opinion it may be necessary for other Magnagorans to keep the fields of Acknor growing) it isn't something she'll ever do as more than a curiousity.

Kaya serves in other ways, usually with scholars and cooking large amounts for people to stock in shops. It's a bit hard for her to do much else.

I don't think there's any room to be offended that a Seren kicked a Magnagoran out of one of the Seren villages under any circumstance, furrikin or otherwise. They're not allowed there unless they're novices, actually.

Unless you meant that you -as your character- were offended that such and such.

Course I did. OOC, I'm not particularly worried.

Again... the complaint was mostly about the website reference.

I'm not paying 100k+ to join a clan, thank you. And influencing and cooking takes up enough time without having to help you build your 'city'.

Yesss.. Aiakon has met you actually. To be honest, he probably wouldn't have citizened you for that very reason. You seem to have a conscience.. and by that I mean that your character's ethical standpoint seems to come from the same perspective as the anti-taint civilisations. Added to which, Aiakon RPs a chronic dislike of Furrikin (partly to annoy his wife) - he even wrote a manifesto for the extermination of all Furrikin and sent it to Azrion to be considered for publication. Unfortunately, Azrion had by that staged waddled off into inactivity and the work will be lost for ever.

Having said that, scholars and cooking IS appreciated by the Dominion... and Aiakon is sure that you will overcome your qualms and embrace the spirit of the Taint in time... enslaving your countryfolk and tainting the land.

Unfortunately, you can't kick me out for not enslaving my own race. I do bring in power and I do cook for people (even if my soon-to-be mother-in-law came along and stole my business afterwards). And I intend to make some new recipes (as Caighan has been neglecting to do so, though he seems to have finally started stocking the cartel shop minimally).

And Kaya isn't planning to join a guild. (Waste of lessons she could use on influence and cooking!). Though apparently a number of Nihilists want her to join them. But no... happy guildless for now.
