So I first saw this on the MafiaScum Forums, which I've been going to occasionally now.

It's a somewhat interesting game that didn't seem to work well on those forums. I'm thinking it'd work better on more active forums, like these.

So! Here's how it works.

If you sign up for this game, I'll PM you a list of five targets that it is your responsibility to seek out and destroy, and the first person to take down all five will win! To kill a target, you must "sandwich" one of their posts between two of your own, anywhere on the forums. For example, if one of my targets was Shiri...

And I would have assassinated Shiri. Remember that there has to be exactly one post between your two posts, no more. When you have successfully assassinated one of your targets, you should PM me with their name and the link. If you get assassinated yourself, there will be a post here saying so (but not who by), but you won't be removed from the game since that's boring; you can keep going with your targets.

If you're interested in playing, send me a PM - do not sign up in this thread, because then people will know you're in the game and might be reluctant to post after you! In order to ensure that you have enough activity on the forums so as to make assassination possible, I'm going to ask that you have at least 100 posts to sign up. I'll post here and send out the targets when we have enough people to begin the game.

Sounds fun, but I post enough as is, I think. (Although it sucks that the mafiascum link FINALLY started working to me after Ibby stopped showing up. )

Well, additionally, if you do a post saying "HA, GOTCHA!" it'll be pretty obvious that you're playing and everyone will avoid posting after you...

Targets are out! PM me when you assassinate someone! Everyone has exactly 3 targets (I reduced the numbers due to a lack of people) and is a target for exactly 3 people. There are 10 players altogether.

So, Daganev was just walking along, strutting his Krokani pride... when suddenly, out of nowhere, a giant spike swung down and impaled his center and only eyeball and pierced the brain! That's got to hurt.

Likewise, Torak was strolling along nonchalantly later when an anvil dropped out of the sky and crushed him. Go figure.

The two leaders are tied for 1 point each.

In the future, I think we need more participants or a different system altogether. I'm thinking something about anyone being open quarry for assassination, with varying values depending on the number of posts (so, as I joked to Shiri, he would be worth negative points).
