Yep, we signed it, and we do our best to hold it up too
But...when you know where to go and who to ask, ya, you -can- get legit stuff but it is just easier that way.
And dont feed me any BS about how the US doesn't explioit copyright laws, we are just open about it.
daganev- Yep, we have Sony's permission to ship the HKSAR edition Ps2's for legit sale in Thai, all mods and stuff installed into the chipset for regionless dvd and such. CERTAIN STORES can sell them legally, but most people buy them from HKSAR and sell them illegally, and also, games are prodsuced differently in Thai, like in usa you get a shiny book with it and all... we just get a box and a disc..no cool book... and games on home consoles are not so popular as well... they do not come in thai edition...
His Magesty, The King has done quite a bit to curb the intellectual property trading in Thai, including putting out a recent law that he said would be enforced or the police could be held responsible for their sector. Crap went blacklist -REAL- fast.
Honestly it just depends on how shady you are, and the kind of pople your with. Every Cd I ever buy of thai music is completly legit cause i buy directly from the Cd publisher (Grammy inc. or R.S.Promitions LLC. for thailand mostly) same for DVD's or VCD's i always buy from B2S.. only my ps2 stuff is not legit...

I didn't mean it to sound like that, I was just pointing out that its not the lack of IP and Copyright in Thailand its just the culture, same as Malaysia....and remember I am not American tongue.gif . Plus you can't stay mad at me you got all those credits off me *nod me*

EDIT: I have nothing against Thailand, I love the place, and Thai Script is the most beautiful looking language in the world, by a long way.
