So Chicago yeah great city but brrr.... it sure is cold in the winter. I saw a previous thread about Illinois, but its a fair bit old and was wondering if things had changed and anyone had moved into the area like me. So yeah hopefully there are more than 3 or 4 of us in the city as its a nice place. unsure.gif dry.gif

I'm from Chicago, but during the school year I'm in Ohio for school (which compared to Chicago, is nothing (no offense to any native Ohioans (well, maybe just a little... smile.gif))).

Well at least one person is from here. Though i am dissapointed as i know for a fact that an unmentioned Celestian who likes to kill me alot is from here.

yes actualy you are 100% right for all those interested which I doubt there are many. Chicago was called windy city for its politicians. Its just mere coincedence that it happens to be very windy. smile.gif

I have to be in Chicago for three weeks from next week. Last time I was there (for 3 months) I couldn't find one decent sci fi bookshop (Borders biggest store on Michigan is abysmall ..) .. any suggestions?

I am only two hours away from Chicago. I actually wrote a poem about the elevators in Water Tower Place. Ah... good times... wink.gif

But in all seriousness, I love the city so much. I might go to college there, but then again, I might not. Oh well, one of my friends is going there and she promised that I could live with her anytime I felt like it *takes advantage* so I might take up residence there in the future.
