I've realised (not being subjected to it for a while) that Narsrim's arrogance is really frightfully entertaining.

Jeitara is not a corrupt Fae. She isn't shadow bound. She isn't Tainted. When she was released upon the wish of Butter, Queen Maeve welcomed Jeitara back to her court. There is no reason the Moondancers should object to her. While she is certainly darker in nature so are banshees, willowisps, etc. We aren't "good." We can be as dark as we so desire so long as that doesn't deal with mistreating the Fae or dabbling in Taint.
Furthermore, I am also a Mugwump. Mugwumps have a strong ancestral hatred for Merians.

If she didn't do anything wrong... why was she imprisoned?
And isn't mutating Fae pretty similar to what the Magnagorans did? Or relatable to binding them in shadow?

Thanks. I'm sure they appreciate how you painfully destroying their bodies makes them safe.

Good question, ask Maeve. But I asked Maeve after the wedding was over about the whole Jeitara/Lanikai thing and guess what: they are both supported and welcomed by her.
Instead of making stuff up (like Joiyra being Fae) why not invest your time into actually getting the facts straight?

That's how the Healing process works, Xenthos, on all aspects. You must destroy to cleanse. Your own body does it to fight off infection much as it has to be done to the Fae.
You sound like the type of guy who'd sue someone who broke a rib giving them CPR, but saved their life.

Doesn't matter. If you kill a fae, any fae, you're opening the door for other fae to be killed for exactly the same reasoning. "They don't follow what we think, so they must die!" You don't want to know how many Moondancers keep coming to me saying "All fae are sacred! Stop your commune members from killing any of them!"
All I have to do is point at you. And tell them that I'll lecture my own members to exactly the same extent that you yourself are told off.

While you can argue all you want, the Moondancers receive instruction and review by both Albion and Lady Lisaera IC. I expect if we are losing our path and taking actions that are not necessary then someone whose opinion counts will tell us

It was also Albion by the way that first told us how to use the Well of Souls.

I justify it like this:
Cleansing the Fae in the Well of Souls is Healing them. However, Healing itself isn't an easy process. It is sometimes necessary to cut off an arm to save the body. While not ideal, there are times you do as you must to ensure the overall well being.

Right, the Moondancers aren't sworn to defend/protect Great Spirits of Nature like Night. We worship Mother Moon. We are sworn to protect/defend the lesser spriits that are the Fae because it was them that Ellindel cured, gave physical form, etc.
You are comparing apples to oranges. And for technical reference, the kelpies are considered Fae.

And we can use the Well of Souls in exactly the same manner as you can, FYI. Once again, it doesn't really matter. You can either treat the Fae as sacred, or you can't. I, obviously, don't treat them as sacred, and neither do you.
I just don't go around killing them if they don't do what I say.

To the average 12 year old, this argument may hold weight; however, the logic is quite flawed.
It is very possible to hold something as sacred and at the same time realize that for the overall well being of what you value, there may be sacrifices to ensure it remains sacred.
Like I said, if someone breaks a rib giving you CPR, but in turn saved you life... they did the best they could do. While you may get a punctured lung afterwards as a result and end up in the hospital for the next six months, it doesn't mean that the person in questions was malicious or wasn't trying to save you.

So what's the difference between an evil mutant kelpie and a kelpie bound to shadows? And, well, you obviously aren't all that good at protecting them if you kill them. Use honeycakes / get them fixed if you need to.

If your doctor had the choice of giving you a small injection to save your life.. or giving you CPR (theoretically).. and he chose to give you CPR and break your ribs and puncture your lungs.. well I'd be pretty pissed.
Why not just use the honeywhatsits? (honeycakes = injection; CPR = well)
(edit because I couldn't spell theoretically)
