I deleted three things which they had copies of.. and I was asked by certain individuals about other things... though they did cut my anti-aquamancer/geomancer stuff out. Curse you!
My intent was not to be an ass..I had copies of everything I deleted just in case they didnt.... I just really really hate Bau

We're not deleting everything you did or saying that everything you did was twisted. We're just seperating Nyla from Blacktalon.

Aww, I love Bau!

Maybe that's just cause her player is nice though, I didn't like Bau when we started in Serenwilde. dry.gif

Psh.... the first is always the best!

Okay, I'm just going to tack this on here instead of making a whole new thread just for this. Anyway, I changed my character name (and then forum name, just so I can keep stuff straight) from Anu to Asati. It was causing problems for both myself and Amaru, it seems.

Sorry for the confusion, y'all, I was just ignorant. doh.gif

Argh. Is there any way to make the first letter a capital A instead of a lowercase a? It's just the OCD in me, I think, but it'll drive me crazy. wacko.gif
Richter2006-01-26 22:51:20
How do you get Anu confused with Amaru? That's like... Rar getting confused with Richter, first and last letter are the same, random letter thrown in the middle.

-I- thought your name was fine. smile.gif
Xavius2006-01-26 22:57:41
It's not the Lusternian. It's the Achaean. Anu is the Achaean equivalent of Ethelon. Guildhopper, but generally useful.

No, there isn't. Remake before it drives you crazy, and you have 100 posts under your belt. tongue.gif

Crow is of a greatness beyond such meager conversations.

That's all I have to say about that.

Caw!

Remake the account, yes, it'd annoy me too. ninja.gif

Doesn't Amaru = Anu?

Okay, that's fine by me, but how do I delete -this- one so that I can make a new one? I hunted around the controls for a while, but... eh. I never saw anything.

You can't delete it (even I can't, just permaban it), so you'll have to message Estarra or someone I guess. Have you tried just making Asati and hoping it's case-sensitive?

I guess one of the things I get most hung up on is False Memory, or refusing to admit that you are (or were -ever-) weak or flawed.  How does this leave any room for growth or change?

Or, maybe I just answered my own question.  ^.^    Dynamics.  Growth isn't always "omg 200 mor credits adn ill pown!"  Damn, I should... stop worrying so much and just play the character.  Hm.

Okay, so let me ask the other Glomdoring-ites (what is the proper term for that, anyway?) on the forums -- what are -you- doing in Glomdoring?  How do you all fit in to the grand scheme?

There are few things more boring than a stereotype. Even if you're going to be just like the rest of your commune, give it a different slant. There's a lot of variation availiable; a stereotypical Serenwilder can range from people who aren't far from being total pacifists, to sociopaths. A non-stereotypical Serenwilder can be anything, including smug, overtly rational lucidians and roguish pacifists that think the Taint isn't a big deal at all (And yes, those are all real characters.)

I don't know what the Glomdorites look like, but you can take your philosophy and slant it the way you want to, specially with Crow. You can even choose to play a complete hypocrite and follow Crow when you want to, if you're good at it enough not to get caught. You can play a pacifist (I know of at least one in Glomdoring) or psycopath (I know at least... Most of Glomdoring, really.) You can just do whatever, as long as it makes some sense, and you actually put some thought into your roleplay. Glomdoring is probably the organization that restricts roleplay the most, but there's a lot of space, specially when giving your character some obvious type of insanity (Everyone in Glom has them.)
Richter2006-01-27 21:45:19
Not everyone can be some crazy individual with their own quirks and oddities. Some people in Lusternia are just... normal, for thier organization at least.
Verithrax2006-01-28 04:27:52
But there's a lot of variation in 'normal'. There isn't a set stereotype that is identical for everyone. Anyway, the best way to do this is just start with a more or less stereotypical character, and let him grow and change according to what happens to him; in the end, the character will feel more real than a character that started out insane.

To answer the question of how do I fit into the grand scheme of things:

A sort of stress relief. smile.gif I'm the Mad Druidessssss! I'm pretty good at retaining information, like history, etc. and I like novices!! But I, sadly, do not show it. Ksilrinda, my character, is actually rather shy and hardly speaks and doesn't ask questions. She does whatever, and goes on watching everything else.

If anything, I'm a stagehand. A lazy..demented stagehand. ...Or something like that.

Nyla I hate you!! Gawd. Actually I don't like you, a.k.a Ksilrinda, because you 3viled the guild!
