We all decided to play a prank on you. Those people you see there didn't get the memo.
Aiwendil2006-01-23 12:13:40
Random strangers started talking to me about it too.
Diamondais2006-01-23 12:37:17
We all decided to take a well needed nap
Unknown2006-01-23 12:38:21
Wasn't today the first day of school?
Aiakon2006-01-23 12:39:47
I dunno about anyone else.. but academic work pressures are really beginning to come into play now. As a result, I have much less time for Lusty. And I shouldn't be here either *slaps wrist*

Wha..? Oh damn dont tell me where you are just had a break in school, I still have a couple days and exams.
Shiri2006-01-23 12:47:37
Not in England it's not, school's been back a couple weeks.
That would make sense though, since it's still Summer in Australia so they'd have the longest holiday this time of year rather than in the -actual- Summer like the rest of us. Weird.

Our summer = real summer, you icy bastards. Who has snow and 'sweaters' at Christmas time?

Shiri2006-01-23 13:30:59
We don't have sweaters. And we got bugger all snow this year too.
Thaemorn2006-01-23 13:33:57

Thaemorn2006-01-23 13:42:31
Shiri just informed me he is ignorant of the nature of tim-tams.
So for public reference...
The plain, original tim-tam. Two layers of chocolate biscuit, separated by a sort of chocolate-cream type layer. And then all coated in chocolate.
Now available in a wide range of varieties. Dark Choc, Double-Coat, Creamy Truffle... Black Forest, mmm. Which is why I can't put them in the fridge to stop them going melty, because then the delightful cherry layer goes all hard and chewy
Consider yourself educated, foo'.
EDIT: My favourite part is the chocolate.

It still snows at xmastime.
Thaemorn2006-01-23 13:45:02
And I'll be warm, tanned and licking the melted chocolate of my fingers.
Shiri2006-01-23 13:46:05
Well at least my ribena is nice and chilly!
Thaemorn2006-01-23 13:48:18
Over here, we have fridges for that. We have cold juice all year round.
Where's that smiley...
.
.
Oh.
EDIT: Do you have ice? Maybe you could put some in your juice when it gets warmer. It's an old Aussie trick, passed down from sheep-shearer to sheep-shearer.

I meant without having to put it in the fridge! *thump*
And no, no ice. Well we probably do but I don't know where. And every time I try to go in the garage I trip up on an axe or something and injure myself.

Shiri as a translation - Tim-Tams are penguins. I had no idea what they were until I tried one in Singapore and it is just a penguin.
Thaemorn2006-01-23 14:15:49
Penguins.
Wtf?
They're biscuits, you sick girl. I know it can be fun to try all sorts of meats from various animals. Kangaroo meat gained some popularity here... but penguins? Shame on you!
