Failing a class in grade 10 would be beyond sad...
Veonira2006-02-27 00:38:25
School is busy. And awful.

Awesome!
I'm doing well in my classes too, but I'm so lazy! Like.. in my Intro Art class we have blogs in addition to our assignments and since I know my teacher rarely checks them (Despite homework being due) I posted a blank one to fill in later since the date and time don't change when you edit a post.
Waiting for my C++ exam to be graded.. I think I only missed one though.

But but... is there any make-up work?
Emilynn2006-03-14 22:53:10
Took the semester off to work full-time so life is full of.....work? The worst part is that sometimes I have to walk to work and it's 3 miles away.
If I WAS in school, I'd be wowing you all with my amazing ability to doodle in class. *sagenod*

Ridiculously hectic. I'm on campus 15+ hours a week from which I am expected to do off-campus study for 30 hours at the very minimum , at work 20+ hours a week, trying to organise myself into some sort of self-supporting lifestyle that doesn't eat my bank account while still attempting to drink too much. Not to mention the fact that I have no time for Lusternia at the moment. The only time I'm on the net is when I'm taking a 5-10 minute break at work.
Something has to give, I swear I'm going to go insane soon.

Don't worry, human minds are incredibly resistent and elastic.
But I do feel your pain (second year studying and working and keeping my own home).

*sniffle* no *faints* I'm going to fail math! ahh! *runs around in a little circle*
I shouldn't even be failing (as I am told that algebra 2 is easy?) is it easy or am I just stupid?
Unknown2006-03-15 23:32:05
Pssh. You're not stupid. Might just need to do a little more practicing to grasp the formulas and whatnot than you would do in other classes though.
One more term to go, right? That's plenty of time!

I wish I'd studied harder in school. The only things I can do of any substance (The rest are things with no career prospects) are computers stuff and nursing.
Otherwise, I have the best job in the world, I work in a pub.

Iridiel2006-03-16 12:18:10
I do computer stuff for a living, it's not so bad. Probably pays less than the pub though.
Aiakon2006-03-16 15:12:19
I doubt it. Pubs don't tend to pay more than minimum wage. Unless you're the chef of the manager or something.
ferlas2006-03-16 15:37:18
Well pub work is usally hourly pay not a salary so it depends, lots of places pay insanely for the hour at late night places soo it all depends.
Yrael2006-03-16 22:14:28
I'm currently getting fourteen bucks (Sixty TWO) an hour, and I don't do too much serving or glassing, the bulk of my work is tab slips, incident reports (typing and filing, since I seem blessed with the unique ability to understand shoddy handwriting, especially my own) and stuff. So basically I spend a lot of time doing jack all. The longer you work there, the more pay you get.
