I'm so confused. I think I'm going to take my artisan alt and learn bookbinding just so I can understand it.

It's not that complicated.
You're just hearing it all in random chunks.

Someone wants copies of an NPC book?Â
(off topic)
A part of me wishes I made Jacquin in Serenwilde, actually. She'd be a VERY different person but her overall style would remain and she would fit in the commune.
Alas, her story's written in Magnagora, and I think the Ur'Guard would drag me back kicking and screaming if I left them. Besides, I couldn't dare leave Lyco.Â

Drat.
Anyway, yeah, Richter was bothering me about copying NPC books, apparently he wanted the whole world library transscribed into his.
Richter2006-01-27 00:29:55
Yeah, I didn't figure it would be costly or difficult, it's only like ten books. I had planned to put about 50 in asap, I mean, I'm trying to make my library legendary and stuff. Lots of the stuff that I'd want in a clanhelp are going into there instead.

Assuming the Books are all Sealed. You would be paying over 100K just for the books, then you would have to manually transcribe them.

Legendary Libraries cost Legendary prices. On the other hand, though, the books you leave in the Public category would be accessable to the world unlike Clanhelps.
I say, find a bookkeeper who knows the system and speak to them about Personal Books (yes, use that term). It's like taxes: Complex, painful if you mess up, but not bad at all if you find someone who knows what they're doing.
I might go into bookbinding, but Blah, I don't even have blademaster transed yet so don't wait up for me.

Too bad I can't have one character assist another.

Could just ask people. It'll cost the same.
(Err.. I don't use my old MSN. Guess I have to update you. )

Bah!
