I consider Glomdoring to be "under" Magnagora both as its lap dog and its step child. Magnagora has often came to the rescue so... my point stands.

Yknow I don't believe you're this much of a monkey. You're talking ICly right now. Like your tone and attitude is with a prejudice and conviction that isn't merited by recreational competition. I take Iaijutsu, Sei Do Kai specifically. I took Jeet Kune Do before that, and studied Capoeira in San Francisco. I represented Iaijutsu at a iai vs ken demo in the ports. Now -that's- beef. You wanna talk intense, you talk about the Sakki a swordsman learns to adopt - the bloodlust madness. That's real. And yeah I played in my junior varsity football team

But this is a computer game. Chill out. This whole thread - and I suck for participating in it - is nothing but crap. You're just talking smack left and right. You and several others, and though Nokraenom made a valid complaint in some manners he should have known it was only gonna start crap. Even if you do fence off any approaches as if you're the debating God in Lusternia and we all have much less Ego to spend, dosn't mean the crap you're saying holds any value. This was the damn problem with Shallam in Aetolia, too. They didn't know wtf it meant to be the Good guy, so it was like the empire vs the empire, and Luke Skywalker quit the session early on "Because Darth Amaru is a b****".

Whatever. Kaervas and Tzara were on tree duty earlier. Shame, we had already mulched everything we could, but I digress.
252665

If by tree duty you mean "wandering through the forest" then, yes I did. And I felt like passing through to get some comms, not because you were raiding, I really couldn't have cared less about that.
Narsrim2006-02-01 18:44:30
Kurt,

I don't think you understand what constitutes an IC statement from an OOC statement.

I believe OOC, Glomdoring doesn't do too much for itself. Since day one, Glomdoring has always depended on Magnagora to rush to the rescue if something goes terribly wrong. Furthermore, it seems to me as if most the decent fighters in Glomdoring shift to Magnagora (at least for some period of time). Even those who do remain are truly more pro-Magnagora than they would ever be pro-Glomdoring (ie. Lyco).

I think it also contributes to the reality that Glomdoring never rises from the ashes and gets stronger. It just gets weaker - and trust me, Glomdoring is a lot weaker today than it was when Syrienne and Murphy and Ethelon were members.

Ok fine.... freakish coincidence, perhaps. You have defended them before in similar situations, however.

We work on taking villages by ourselves. We do rather well, until Celenwilde decides to group up so that "taint won't take a village." rolleyes.gif

We defend our own territory. We don't ask Magnagora to come assist, and in fact, this Kaervas/Tzara thing you're mentioning is the first time I've heard of them trying to "kill on our behalf" in quite some time.

Are we always going to win? No, we don't have the numbers. We're slowly getting better, and we're doing it without relying on someone else to fight our battles for us.

Edit: And it appears that your Kaervas/Tzara thing was a crock! Heh. happy.gif

Kaervas has defended Glomdoring before, first off. Second, Magnagora helps Glomdoring far more than Celest helps Serenwilde influencing. If you want to talk about a crock, there you have it.

And the last time we helped Glomdoring influence being.... oh wait a sec, they don't have any villages. Guess it must have been quite a while ago then.

Kaervas used to a long, long time ago. And please, the most Magnagora has done for Glomdoring in influencing in the past month was about an hour in Southgard when it went, after they got the wildnodes sorted out. They then pulled out from Southgard completely.

We've been competing elsewhere.

Or someone needs to get a clue and know that we haven't helped Glomdoring get a village for a long time. And by the way, love how you slam this non-existant help when you're the main person fighting Celest's battles. Hypocrite anyone?

Narsrim, your inablity to recognize the passage of time is rather humorous.

Magnagora has not helped Glomdoring in over 5 Real life Weaks, infact the last three villages Magnagora and Glomdoring have fought eachother.

And I clearly remember killing all the guards at Celest's portals by ourselves, or were you too busy stroking your own ego to notice?

You clearly are unaware that Glomdoring is not Tainted, and I'm pretty sure that even if Celest DID declare war on serenwilde you would still help them, because after all, your Champion and can do what you like.

I haven't seen more Celenwilders die more often to members of Glomdoring than in the past two weeks, so I'm really curious what your smoking.

You also seem to forget that Kaervas was declared an enemy of Glomdoring for MANY years...

Wow Daganev, wow. You killed 5 guards with a group of people and most of you got slaughtered and prayed. That's so impressive.

And who says Glomdoring isn't tainted? Lord Hajamin said that the Wyrd was taint of a different form. As an Elder God, His opinion on it seemed quite influential to His Order and Celest.

And finally, you are more than welcome to succumb to your fantasies about who I will and will not fight for.

Viravain is insane. She can't even see the Taint so her opinion is worthless on this matter.

And to my understanding, no other God has said that word for word, "The wyrd isn't tainted." It is more along the lines that the Wyrd is a transformation/evolution of the taint with nature.

Wrong. Feel free to ask some of the divine ICly if you want- that's where I found out about it.
Verithrax2006-02-01 19:56:34
Wether Glomdoring is Tainted or not is just IC philosophy and has nothing to do with the thread. Why is it that every discussion on the forums ends up as one of these arguments?

Shikari, Viravain, Raezon, and Fain are considered "tainted" so they are out. That leaves Lacostian, Elcyrion, Lisaera, and Isune. You said multiple, which implies 3 or more.

Lisaera is pretty hard to get into contact with so I'm going to assume you didn't speak with her. Isune so far as I know isn't happy with the Wyrd at all and considers it flawed like the Taint.

That leaves Lacostian and Elcyrion. I'll have to talk to Elcyrion, he's fun to talk to. Lacostian sorts creeps me out though.
