then make the balance for the hexagram knocking last longer than the EQ time it takes to cast it.

And i have climb but i can't follow into trees due to the slyph, not to mention you can just whore shove murphy to stay up there. 1v1 if i had a skill that i could just use to escape where it is nigh impossible to follow me, while i heal up you would bitch too.

The balance for being knocked out of the trees is shorter than the eq required to shove.

Except that shove doesn't hit everyone in a single room.
Murphy2006-02-16 02:13:08
then give geyser which only targets one person a longer off balance time for the victim. Really, if i've got someone's head at critical there isn't a lot i can do to win the day if they up a tree.

I just ask for the ability to chop them like saplings!
Xavius2006-02-16 04:44:38
Climb up has no balance. Also, shove without levitation has no eq loss. I wish all I had to do to survive a warrior was climb up.
Narsrim2006-02-16 06:36:52
You can create trees that will never able to be chopped *envious*

And what are they doing while up the tree? Is it hurting you, or your orgs? If not, you've won. If they come down, you'll be beating on them again. Unless it was just luck the first time, you'll run them up the tree again, and again, until they decide to actually run home. That counts as them losing.
Murphy2006-02-17 11:34:45
I want a skill like that, get in trouble just move up and you can cure back to nothing and go again, charming.

In close fights where it can go either way, its a pain in the ass.
Narsrim2006-02-17 11:37:24
Well Murphy, you have one too! Its called C-L-I-M-B-I-N-G and its in Environment.
Sylphas2006-02-17 12:11:33
You know what would be nice; dryads can be chopped, but they let also let us use vines.

Though I'm not sure why people want to chop them, pretty sure I can summon them faster then you can chop them, especially if you're not an axelord.

It does mean that a warrior can use his power attacks to gain a slight advantage which is what they are used for, then you can just hop away easily to cure them, I mean I run after the good warriors use their power stuff because I cant cope with the wounding and damage, the dryad tree makes it easier than running away where they can chase you down still getting in a few hits to slow you down like knockdown or tendon cut. Dryad does give you a nice advantage to avoid your heavy attacks.

I don't really see the big deal.
Climb is a skill available to anyone. So is cling. Just climb up and start beating on them some more.
Narsrim2006-02-17 17:00:27
Amen, sister.
ferlas2006-02-17 17:23:19
Its better than just running away though I think. They swing up and cling you can just hop away again.
Unknown2006-02-17 17:30:52
True, but couldn't the same be said of fly? Just fly up and move away a room or two, and boom. Except that only wiccans, trill, and faelings can do it?
Narsrim2006-02-17 17:32:52
Actually anyone could do it with a winged mount, but it would have nearly the same effect.
Sylphas2006-02-17 18:19:54
Guardians can fly too, without Riding.
Vix2006-02-17 18:26:31
As can non-faeling crow users.
Terenas2006-02-17 18:42:24
It's obvious that Murphy can't afford to learn up to climbing and clinging, why he wants the easiest method to get people down from the trees! Not everyone can afford credits damn it!

Vix2006-02-17 19:37:39
Ooh, ooh, and if you can fly, you can LAND TREES from the air. Access to two places for the price of one! (A flying mount that is)
ferlas2006-02-18 15:55:49
O yea flyings just as good probally, just ment the dryad was pretty nifty, it isnt the be all and end all of escaping though.
Shiri2006-02-18 23:36:07
Flight is worse than dryad, it takes eq to get up (and then eq to cling).
