Lately I've been playing Ragnarok Online again, and while I understand I will grow bored of it and return to the good old politics/economics/player interaction of Lusternia, I wanted to know if anyone wanted to join me in a bit. After all, most of us play more than one game at a time, right?

Information is at www.projectro.com, I'm on the Sakray server. It has increased exp and item drops, so it's going to entertain me longer, because you won't burn out so quickly. I've been playing for a few days, and already have a lv 82 wizard and a lv 70 assassin, character names are Richter and Arlen. I'm thinking about making a Lusternian guild too maybe.

Good, we can get you to level 60 within an hour or two. Download it soon so you can play this weekend, it took me a while over dsl, because there is a huge amount of info in it (like 60 tracks). If anyone really wants to play, thinks they can handle playing it over dialup, but can't download, I can send you a cd with it on it.

60 within an hour? How many levels are there then?

Well, it is on an accelerated exp server... But there's normal levels and job levels. There's 99 normal levels and 50 job levels. Once you get 40-50 job levels the first time, you can up your class, so, I went from thief to assassin, and your job level resets (so by that time, you can get back up to job level 10 in about 2 minutes, because you're killing hard things with a high normal level, and a job level 1). Eventually, where I'm at, I've already upped my class from magician to wizard and thief to assassin, and I'm sitting at job lv 50, I can't go any higher. Yet.

Once you hit level 99, you can be "reborn". I'm not sure if your stats reset and stuff, don't know how that works, but you have access to the high powered third class, which for me would be high wizard and assassin cross. You also get a pretty glowy color if you're level 99.

It sounds complicated, but it's really easy.

Once you get 99 you can remort to the original class, at which point you would skip your secondary class and go straight to highclass so..
Novice=>Thief=>Assasin **REMORT* Novice=>Thief=>Assassin Cross
I might play..maybe.. but it is just so much more expensive here than at home..
Richter do you pvp?

It's free on that server, and I've never done PvP yet. Contrary to some beliefs, I don't suck at fighting on all games, just this one.

I love RO pvp, its awesomely fun, until someone just gets a groupd of mages or arcs together...then they are just being sissy...
I might join Richter if I ever find a comp where I can...I suppose I could play mon Wed and Fri at work...if I join, what class do you need and would you help me level?

Yeah, I'd help you level, but I leveled to 65 or so in about two hours solo, so it's quite possible to do it on your own. For those that don't know, aggro mobs tend to go after the higher leveled players, who can sit and tank them while the lower level person kills them off and gets full exp. Not nessecarily needed on an exp+ server, (especially since my assassin and mage have low hp, as opposed to a knight or something).

The hardest part about it really is downloading all the content which is somewhere around 500mg, I think. Cool thing is, the soundtrack can be played while playing Lusternia or something. Or, heck, put it on your Xbox while playing Oblivion next month.

I think it would be neat to get a group of Lusternians playing, I can help you all level really quickly, it'd be all kinds of fun.

Post something that leads from the beginning to starting up, including where to download files, etc...

I know I'm going to make an Alchemist, because I always do. Always. Not enough of them around.

I love RO. I used to play on Xilero until I got bored with it. Managed to level my character to 255(they had higher levels there) then just quit. No challenges at that point...though I did like my Bloodknight custom pet.

On tRO, I had Munak and Gunbon pets, aswell as was superhighclass priest (forget what they are called) I was solo tank+turnundead which was awesome for PK...Priests get wicked high hp if you know what your doing, such as chainmail+steel chon chon card =fieldplate

I believe that the project ro site takes you to http://files.filefront.com/ProjectRO_Insta...;/fileinfo.html for downloading it. Then you install, and register on the website. Go back to www.projectro.com, go to sakray to register. When you've got everything registered and installed, open it up, choose sakray server, and start playing.

If you've got a problem with that, I have a exe file that should help you start it easier. Sounds complicated, but it's not, and once you've gotten it down, logging on will always be easy.

Yeah, I was flipping out when I first entered the outside field and was fighting things that I could see nor myself. Then I realized you needed to spin the screen to change perspective... so much easier then.

Aww, I want to play! I'll have to redownload kRO and Sakray though, since I've got AndzRO currently installed. That server's sucking pretty bad lately. :/ I've been wanting to move anyways. But I love my Knight.

It'll be a while before I can get them downloaded, though. Gotta get to a fast connection somehow.
