The OOC stuff came with the unexpected "high" of the new skill that was very different from anything we ever saw, here or in another IRE game. Heck, I even did a "Dr McCoy" reference, and Elryn did his Scotty impression.

Elryn's was ICly done though, Umbrawn's Star Wars theme..

The day I stepped on that death cruise I wanted to be an aethership captain. I even had Orti named Orti Highwind. Then I discovered how much of a drag are aetherships and I was like no wai. Then I started guild jumping and everything was kind of a blurr.
That was I believe on my first or second week I had joined Lusternia as Orti very fun event

I don't believe it, you're all still ignoring it! Maybe if I use bold red letters...

Yeah I was kinda boggled by that, I don't beleive it, but I see no reason for the Gnomes to lie about it... Is this like the stargate goa'uld by chance? Pose as gods but its all tech? *boggle*

I remember that cruise, I followed Kaervas and we escaped dying by mere seconds because prize return (at least I think it was that) hadn't been disabled, so a bunch of Magnagorans ended up safe JUST as the death spam hit.
Good times.

Sheesh, what is there to discuss?
The gnomes didn't know what Elder Gods were. Players jumped to some wild conclusions and began calling them Elder Gods. What were they supposed to think but that gnomes were treated as gods by these primitive people. Sounded quite logical to them.
(Maybe you needed to be around for more of the RP that led up to this climax to see the whole picture.)

This is SO all Simimi's fault. We weren't all like that!

I was at the peak from the beginning, in fact, I was one of the first people on the scene. I saw it all, the people that wanted to give it powerstones, the people that wanted to stop the people who wanted to give it powerstones, the people that wanted to figure out why the hell the mountain was smoking(me included). People thought it was an Elder, a Soulless, something else... but why did they say that the Elder Gods = Gnomes? Unless they thought that we thought the Newton gnomes were the Elder Gods. If that's the case, then I'm getting over-excited.
Though, I smell cover-up and conspiracy.

They said that because they were called Elder Gods by more than one person and treated accordingly. At least, that's what some of the players who were kidnapped did--remember they kidnapped lots of people on a regular basis.
Hmm, since no one saw how the kidnapped players treated the gnomes except the gnomes, my perception (and the gnomes!) may be somewhat different--but trust me they had VERY good reason to think that players thought gnomes were gods.

Heh, ya, I was pretty much hands-off for the most part, half the serenwilde thought this was some hostile force, a new wave of the taint, or some such.
Then when they said that Elders=Gnomes I freaked out for a minute or so.
Then Lisaera made a joke about it, and I realized the gnomes were just missled little lumps of arrogance, and the world was right again.

Are you sure about this? I distinctly remember that when I got abducted by them everyone could hear what I was saying. I could hear them too, but only as weeny indistinguishable voices.
