Yeah, whats the ETA for the specs? I imagine now you know what you want them to have in em, they can't be too much more than two or three weeks off... Unless your having some painfull issues on tryin to figure something out.
Oh, also, I still think Aether creatures should give more experience when ya kill em. In normal hunting, if you have six people with you and your killing gorgogs or Astral stuff they're getting a very small amount of experience, true, but with six seperate people, one or two are tanking most damage and the others are fairly safe. Theres no risk of the ENTIRE group getting whiped out by one critter, or even a group of critters. Its true that as long as the captain of the ship your on keeps their head and is good at piloting theres little chance of dieing, but I think the kills should be more profitable.
Envoy reports first, please Don't bug the admins, they will get them to us as soon as they can, and as soon as bugs and such are worked out Rushing things is a bad idea.
Aether critters give next to no experience for killing them. Last time I was out there, we had a level 20ish person in the group - he gained 0% after killing 50+ things. That's just not right. Of course, if they give experience, they need to be upgraded. Give some ranged attacks Especially when fartarget comes in to play.

Another difference is that in normal bashing you can (if you're strong enough) bash solo... but in a ship you need more than just yourself (I imagine three people at least (commander, empath, and at least one gunner... though the commander -might- be able to switch to empath depending on how many creatures, how much damage vs. how much you heal and all that) and that's just to create a semi-comparable fighting ability... thus if you're expecting the experience over time to be about the same then the aether creatures should be worth more to offset that in a ship you need more people than regular bashing just to function.
Hope that made sense.... and also I'm not trying to say what the exp should be... just that the way the comparisons were being made seemed a little skewered.
