Do you dock at the Nexii, or is it anywhere on that plane, i mean, if it's at the Nexus it's not that bad, seeing as they're usually heavily guarded, if not, it's just like the cubix, except you cant really ambush people on their own ship.

Yay, can raid nil without an arti!
253686
You -do- realize that you need MANY MANY artis and hundreds of thousands of gold to make a ship that doesn't instantly blow up right?
plus, even flying from the place we transversed to cosmic to celestia took like 20 minutes, it's NOT a good way to raid

Hmm, if we all quit at once, and let the ship die... then log back in, will we be back at the Aetherplex?
253677
that sounds like issuable abuse of quit to me actually.
Richter2006-02-04 09:58:44
Well, it would cost less than a cubix, and cities and communes could make their own, with the leader of each owning the manse. Remember, you don't have to be the owner to command the ship.

true, it's still a very very vast and easy place to get lost in, maybe if anyone ever makes a map of the whole place, or dependant on what the higher-the-master skills are, well, we'll see I geuss.

I'm REALLY curious what the trans skills will be. I could see the Commander one being to teleport the ship home, or a ten power speed boost, or something that allows for faster travel in one way or another.
Unknown2006-02-04 10:13:42
well, there is an arti that you can place that increases speed, so I'm not sure about that. I geuss I'm at the point that this is so differant then anything else in Lusternia that I just don't know what is coming next.
Narsrim2006-02-04 10:16:07
Expect power moves. Right now the only thing that drains power is the ship cloaking gem.

ooh, interesting empaths might have a trans skill that completely heals a ship or that temporarily protects a ship from all damage, or that give a ship damage reduction armor or something, hmm
did I mention that I this?
Thank you Roark!
Ekard2006-02-04 10:42:07
Damn you all i want my own ship!
Sylphas2006-02-04 10:43:22
This is incredibly cool. Even if mine ends up as a two room ship with nothing but a command chair, it's still incredibly awesome. I may even forget Hexes to help trans it out, given all the zero fighting I do anymore.

Of course, now I can't be the only one one special enough to have a Palace that can traverse the planes, aetherwaves and bits and pieces of creation.
Does that mean we can dock with your palace somewhere?

There aren't ones for Kaervas, Murphy and myself for being the only ones to dodge said implosion.
Edit: Our escape was pretty damned cool. We got out, managed to say "Wouldn't it be funny if they all died now" and then recieved the page and a half of deathsight spam within a second of saying it.

No, Kaervas does NOT need any more honours.

Well, admins.. this look absolutely fantastic. I still haven't hitched a ride on anyone's aethership yet.. so I'm just waiting at the Megalith feeling irritated and impatient.. and reading the HELP files (some of which need a little bit of correcting, I think).

I *love* the gnome's last words.
"Oh, this ship doesn't have any battlestations, does it?"

One more thing... is it possible to replace 'hull' with something more appropriate, like field maybe?
