Rebalancing honours quests

Making honors quests ... what's the term again, "instanced"? ... tuned to each character individually would be nice except that they all seem to have a bit of an effect on the village politics. Successfully completing the honors quests makes the villagers happier and more likely to remain true to whoever currently holds influence over them. Failing the quest makes them revolt sooner.

I share the frustration of not finding quests available usually, but I've eventually gotten to do a number of them that I'd be capable of, and some a few times. There are still at least a few I think I can do that I haven't been able to complete yet but I'm sure I'll manage to find time and have them be open at some point.

Your idea is a poor one and does not merit further discussion. If you require an explanation of why you are free to pursue one through alternative avenues, but I advise that you take my word for it.

Not the most useful post you've ever made.

Not to mention that instanced quests lead for anything but an immersive world. - Oh look we have 83 murder victims at the same time in our village of 26 people.

I'm a huge fan of instanced games. Diablo 2, Guildwars, Starcraft, Quake2 (still the best FPS ever dry.gif ), you know, multiplayer games where each game is it's own instance, and they do not interact with each other.

You know what these games aren't? Roleplaying games.
You know what else these games aren't? Persistant interactive worlds.

You know what Lusternia is? Yep, a roleplay game set in a persistant interactive world.

Don't like it? I recommend finding a game that suits you, rather than asking for the game to be drastically changed into something the playerbase doesn't particularly like and isn't even in the right genre. Like instanced roleplaying? I'm sure you can find a tabletop campaign in your area, or maybe a club that plays one-shot LARPs.
