Depends, I guess. If you are a druid dreamweaver, you could have access to free poisons/potions defend on tradeskill.

Dreamweaving for me seems to be a combat skillset for people without a system (i.e., zmud). All you have to worry about is straight damage, and what it can do is less than what other skillsets are going to do. It was said when it was released that it was going to be intentionally weaker than other options and that seems to be holding true.

Three words (or maybe four): Embedded blackout mote.
If being able to mask Chasm isn't a useful combat tool, I don't know what is.

Wasn't it changed so everything took at least one second, so you couldn't just feed them a vial of charybdon and a vial of absinthe and watch them die?

Yes... for everything except sipping.
Which is why I'm hesitant in case its an oversight.

QFT. Shame that only works for Geos.

Damn overpowered Aquamancers don't need any more help.
...
Man, that sounds even stupider than it did in my head.

Constant blackout does mean you cant get a reliable offensive going though so its good for all.
Narsrim2006-02-17 12:49:33
When you can't see a demesne hitting you or the person leave the room, it can definately stop you.
Ashteru2006-02-19 23:50:48
Well....people cured the demesne after embedded blackout a lot better than after embedded epilepsy...but that's just me and my sapieness. (Haha, sapieness, did you get that? ... Nevermind)

Robbing Candy from little Children....and other things.
And to add another thing, I will probably switch to Ecology when I come back, it's far superior in direct combat...plus, I like to not have to pray that much.
