Sorry for overreacting, but I am under the tension of not knowing what's going on. At least if I knew the alliance of those who died at least we could evaluate past actions based on that.
Currently, we only know who's a day vig (by his own claim) and that isn't good either because he must be kept alive just in case we need him at the end, and that means somebody must protect him all time.
And Ialie isn't being of much help *poke Rekiem* I FoSed you say something!
Not sure if it'll help, but for the record: None of us know what is going on either. Everything said up to this point by basicly everyone (except the scum) has been pure speculation and theory.
Mostly, the key to knowing is in the past posts. Every once in a while, go back over the thread and look for odd behavior in individuals. I say 'odd' because there's one key difference between the bad guys and the good ones: The bad guys know who they are.
Ever tried to pretend not to know something that you really do? It's just not the same as truly not knowing. Some people turn wishy washy (sidenote: this is why 'being defensive' doesn't work well here.) while others do anything they can to avoid notice (which makes them look funny: Both being too silent and being too outspoken shine a spotlight on you, so they try to avoid BOTH). The better ones try to manipulate the community into actions that 'seem' alright but turn out bad. There's been games where the mafia knowingly lead the townies in killing one of their own so that the rest of them looked like heros: worked WELL too.
Suspicions are going to fling out everywhere, and some of it will go off to you. Best thing to do is to not panic, at least until the suspicions start to pile up and things turn ugly. The person pointing at you is, chances are, as much in the dark as you are.
No, it's not easy in the least, thus the challenge in this game.
Sidenote: Sometimes, the most powerful weapon you have is your intuition/gut. If you 'feel' something is so then go with it: chances are you're correct. I can't say my own gut hasn't proven me wrong ever, but it's been more accurate than anything else, including hard cold facts. Trust your insticts.

i like lyres, they're fun. i can only play about three songs on them though.
it could also mean that you're cult recruiter and that they might be scum or something(cause isn't there roles that if they're attempted to be put into a cult the person who tried to recruit dies?) of course, i'm just throwing out ideas
and about iridiel being defensive, they could be our rezz person, maybe? not only the scum roles try to prevent from dying, i think. (i'm pretty shure that nejii/xenthos is on our side, although i'm uncertain) my theory is that there's a person like a protector, except that they rezz people rather than protect them, for if it were a mooncoven why wouldn't anyone be rezzed on the first night? and if it were something to do with scum, wouldn't nejii not be rezzed? they could have made him turn into scum, but i doubt that, for as has been previously mentioned, why would they do it so quickly?
Iridiel2006-03-29 08:22:20
If we have a rezzer maybe the first night said rezzer was roleblocked, or it's a mixed role of protection/ressing and he was protecting somebody and so no night deads?
Ok, so Requiem is not to be voted for acording to Shorlen. Will give that a try.
Now, talking about being utterly reasonable and with gutfeelings... somehow Cwin strikes me as a very reasonable person who is very active also. Gutfeelings might be used to hide information nobody else has... or an extra heavy dinner
UnFoS Everybody, UnVote Everybody
Will keep thinking.

Iridiel2006-03-29 13:48:10
Shorlen, did I tell you that it has been 3 days since I last saw my pet snake? She left her box and must be roaming my room, hungry...
Iridiel2006-03-29 15:07:31
I rereaded the thread, and found something slightly disquieting:
Now, with their quest laid at their feet, the mortals of the Basin set out to discover who would leave such a message? Another divinity, perhaps? Who else would have the audacity to write such a sign; ‘Peanuts:1, Lisaera 0’
So, maybe if it's another divinity we should start looking for people afiliated to Orders different than the Lisae?

Xenthos2006-03-29 15:21:07
I am not a member of Lisaera's Order, and never have been as far as I know... Isune.
So I don't think that's an accurate guess.

Iridiel2006-03-29 15:22:50
We can think that if Torak was of Fain order, and Fain isn't exactly friends with Lisaera, we killed one scum? Well, somebody did more exactly.

For the record, though people may not believe me, my Gut never uses logic. In fact, sometimes it works against logic. I think my own touches on the spiritual (which I'm glad for: Religious or not I have almost NO spiritual gifts. Probably suits me best since I get scared easily).
To be honest, though I'm using all the evidence I have over Shamarah, my gut's dead silent.
Shiri2006-03-30 01:07:06
I'm a Lisaeran if it helps.
But I'm not convinced that looking for people outside the orders (or in other orders) is going to work. I mean, you have a point, but while Nejii isn't Lisaeran I'm not sure he'd deliberately do something to piss her off... Could be onto something w/Torak though.

Kiarlea2006-03-30 02:49:36
Rather than being Fain-ites, wouldn't it make more sense that the scum are just anti-Lisaera? I mean, I can think of Serens who really are anyway, so... that would make sense. I don't know if those we have in the game at present would have chosen three well-known Fain-ites for their role...
Add: Sorry if it made no sense. I'm so tired and it's not even the end of the week yet.

This is going rather slow. Do you guys need a deadline?
Cwin2006-03-30 11:59:58
Bah, too many without a choice again. We may need a deadline, though I wish we didn't.
And why is everyone ignoring Shamarah? Anyone NOT concerned about what I brought up?

Let me put it this way.
Quit being a bunch of pansies and lynch someone already.

Fritzler, why are you voting for Shamarah?
Everybody else has given their reasons.
On a sidenote, can the scum have day-vigs?
