Anyway, I actually don't mind Shamarah's roleclaim...it's realistic at least.

Once upon a time, there was a mafia game. We all went after Revan, because he looked oh so scummy, always reasonable and all that jazz. Then we asked him to roleclaim and he said:
I am Timmie, the reporter. Unflavoured townie.
And we all said that was impossible, such a silly name on an Ibby game, and we still voted for him with a vengeance.
And after the linch, guess who he was?
TIMMIEEEE!!

Oh yeah, I remember that.

Now I don't get why it applies here. We've had worse than changelings before.

I just don't trust him. Changeling? I can understand having an item that makes no sense (like that damn branch, or the crown that I should have worn that time...) but something so broad seems... farfetched. After the insanely long wait for a reply, I'm inclined to vote. Come on guys, talk, please?

Though it would be nice to know if this ends in a NL or most votes is lynched.

I had a similar role on another game, I basically could steal somebody else role for the night, I guess that's what he meant with race, and the other person didn't have a role that night more or less (kindoff a roleblock but the action was done anyway, just by me)

Feh. I'm not sure whether to unvote or not. The role does make sense to a certain extent (I'm given to imagine he has a short list of races to choose from, Kia, not just "choose anything") but I'm pretty sure Fritzler isn't scum so yeah. And we need to vote SOMEONE off and we have a deadline. I think I'll leave my vote where it is unless someone comes up with something convincing. Scrying is too slow for a spur of the moment thing, and that's if the scryer speaks up.

Well, currently I'd like to hear Cwin roleclaim, as she was the first person to claim against Shamarah acusing him of the same things she does.

And Shiri, better safe than sorry. If we linch a townie with powers we're making scum lives easier.

Timmie was put into that game because of of metaplaying: Essentually, we got so used to 'everyone gets a power' that the idea of a plain old townie was 'obviously' a trick. Also, I fully and truly believed that Revan was supposed to be the final cult leader. I spend over an hour on those posts declaring everything I knew and proving my point. Then he roleclaimed and I KNEW I had him.

....which...is probably what I'm doing now.


I don't want to trust Shamarah, but everything is based on 'facts', which is what got me 'Timmied'. It isn't the first time either. Meanwhile, my gut isn't saying anything (mostly because of personal problems: RL is going rather Blah to me, which makes reading intuition also Blah).

On the other hand, I don't know WHAT to do now. Unless there's some pattern to our characters and their link with the mafia, we really don't have much of a way of proving anything.

BAH. I don't even know whether to remove my vote or not. Quick, anyone have any idea how we're going to solve this thing?

i dun believe shammy would get 16 or whatever roles to choose from, just seems like too many. believable if fewer, but thas a lot. dun really wanna change my vote, but not so sure now

Very well, though I won't be alone here. Since we're low in facts and need SOMETHING to work with, I suggest everyone call out their names. DON'T call your role, though: We have few ways of proving it and if the, whoever the bad guys are, find out someone's a protector or scryer we're through.

Names, though, we might be able to use.

Don't know what can we do with a name, though. As we didn't found a way to check names were anti-lisaeran or not.
