Which is not an excuse to ignore the balance issues here. First off, she noted that you hit her once before that behead. Two-strike beheads aren't completely unknown to us, and that's an issue. One-strike damage kills are stupid.

Also, for the record, her health is only 400 less than mine. I'm level 76, and 10 con is very standard for magical races.

Also-Made no use of stancing (decreases assault wounds) probably didn't have your hood raised... And yes, my wounding is insane, just like every other champ..

We tested his wounding later on after that, it ranges 1,300-1,500 on an unparried/unstanced bodypart. That's on an assault.

That is what a 2h spec should be doing on an assault. I probably do simalir to that in a double crush combo, maybe less (this is on fullplate too)

Thats about how much I do on a double crush with hammers (or was it flails I forget). Murphy does about 2200 for the same power cost.

i do not do 1100 wounds per crush to warriors.

Depending on the crappiness of someone's armour, i sometimes hit 1k against robe wearers but certainly not against plate

It shouldn't be necessary to have to have rebound up permanently and permanently hinder someone to not die in one to two hits - end of story.

it should be necessary when you only have 2.4k health and a l3 weakness to the elemental type of damage.

I'm sorry you need at LEAST 3k if not 3.5k to not get nailed by damage, problem is solved by levelling up.

Has anyone noticed that when someone dies to an assault or crush, Murphy's always brings into question stancing and parrying as if it actually mattered?

This does seem quite unfair, Abrael takes me from near full health (within 400 because i check that i wasn't autosipping) but atleast he had me pinned (or whatever) I really think warriors should either have to have someone pinned, at half health or have a long "cast" time before a so called instant kill.

Also you might note that Mitbulls said the robes hood was up. but that could be misunderstanding.

Could i ask for a list of every skill considered either an instant or near-instant kill with their requirements?

I know of Toadcurse which requires we get you down to half mana, which against anyone with a good stock of mana vials and a half decent sipper you won't see to often. It's also 8 power

From what I've noticed it does matter. Here's an example: When we first started to test his wounding I was stancing my head (Keep in mind Ciaran is an orlach with pureblade trans), and forgot to unstance when Ciaran assaulted at my head and -completely missed-. I only have Virtuoso combat. Of course, I don't doubt this is a 1/50 occasion, but it shows stancing and parrying do have an effect. Thus the "partially parries" messages, so forth..which I -have- gotten from better opponents when lunging, the partial parry reduces damage and wounding done.

While you're right in saying on scales of larger numbers like the 2,000 at the higher end of critical wounding, parrying and stancing might not have an extreme effect, that's like saying 'screw criticals, I only get a critical so often anyway'
