Could we make the command to use the archways, ENTER ARCHWAY TO FAETHORN, ENTER ARCHWAY TO SERENWILDE, ENTER ARCHWAY TO GLOMDORING?

Grr, I hate trying to spam an escape only to step back into the fighting.

I'm just afraid that it'll be ENTER ARCHWAY TO GL *cudgel, cudgel, moonburst, cudgel, waning, delaaaaaaay, bleed, conglutinate*

I have a hard enough time remembering that I can invoke serpent during my monthly get-jumped-by-Narsrim event. You want me to remember an alias? Pssh. Stop spamming!

That's happened to me a couple of times as well..

We could make it even simpler and just get rid of the damned things.

I still think you should be forced to transverse like you do for Water and Earth

Transverse? Like... transversing between planes? Why would they do that for getting around ethereal? O_o

There is no IC or Tactical reason for it. Just seems like they shouldn't be so connected.

Hmm, ok whats the planar method of moving from say, Earth to Water?

Leave Earth/Water to Faethorn and go to the next Elemental Archway and Transverse Elemental. For those without Tesserect, they are completly different planes and have no connection beyond the Nexi that leads to Prime and the Archways that lead to Ethereal. Those Archways are different from the ones separating Faethorn, Etherwilde and Etherglom.

Edit: I meant that they arent connected directly but through diffferent planes from the way our characters understand Planar Travel.

You have to tesseract from earth to Water? teleport doesn't work?

Dont believe so, Im not even sure if you can do that tesserect. Should ask someone more knowledgable about this area. I only know that there is no direct gateway that we are able to precieve between the planes. You have to go through Prime or Ethereal to get there.

Edit: Or go through the Cosmic plane that connects.

Well yeah, I know that.. thats why I used the word Transverse, cuase its the only way I know of to get from Water to Earth.

I bet the Aether explorers will find something neat soon related to that.

The point I was trying to make was that the Archways to the Elemental Plane and the Archways between the Etherwilde and Etherglom to Faethorn are different.

The archways are like the whirlpools on water and the cave on earth, they connect to other continents, not other planes.

Why? They have different roles. One is a gateway between Planes and one is a safeguard that the Admin put in so wed stop sitting in our safe little areas beside guards and point staff/cudgel and hit the others who were joining us in our little staredown. Does no one remember this? There were other things that invoked this. And Im sure someone could bring up a suitible IG reason that they were created.

Edit: A reason was put in before I finished, how about that.

I know all the reasoning, I just think that Ethereal should be divided up the same way Elemental and Cosmic planes are divided up.

although, at this point in time I guess they are, with the catacombs... but it should be even MORE divided up!

Edit: the feather in Glomdoring and whatever links EtherSerenwilde to White Hart, act as the cave and whirlpool allready.
