I havn't played any of them, and have no plans to. I sometimes watch/play things like that but I don't have the heart for it, and the fact I believe in the spirit realm doesn't help any.

Still, I find the stories interesting, especially since the guide had the dialogue to go with it. It's probably not as scary as I'm imagining it to be: I sometimes freak out over figs and mice*.

Given the story alone, I prefered 1 with 2 right behind it. 4 gave me the creeps though with all the talk of house hauntings.

Ah...I never did 2. And I'm probably biased against the storyline of 4 (although it did seem corny to me) from the incredible awfulness of the game itself.

Wish I hadn't sold SH3 actually. Now that was a quality game.

4 WAS corny, but I sort of liked the bad guy's back story.

As for 2, it's rather deep really: a conflict within the self. It also has some hidden morals about how to handle loss and regret. I can see it work as in book form (though definatly not direct translation). It's a contrast to 1, though, which is more heroic.

From what the gameplay seemed, though, you might be best sticking to 1 and 3.

Anarias (guy who imported me to Lusternia, hasn't played in a while) keeps telling me 2's the best story and game wise and that I should get that...I should see if anyone has a used one to sell me or something.

Further to the last post, the guy I sent that link to came up to me one day and told me that was the funniest thing anyone had done to him, and that he kinda deserved it. So I was nice and gave him the original tape. At least, I THINK it was the original...

I got the living room one before. The face isn't really much, but the scream is what gets you.

And I want to see that tape! XD
