Wisp was already nerfed pretty hard, and you can still resist it, so eh. Daevos and a few other insane weapons are still going around doing horribly quick beheads, yep.

Aetherships -are- cool. And you need to learn the skillset to be crew, but even up to master is just fine for most of the things.

Wisp got nerfed but it's still worth using, considering the delay is only 3 seconds. This is definitely worth using against someone trying to break a druid demesne since you will probably wisp them before they get balance back from chopping and even if they do manage to break the wisp will still go through.

Ships... Anisu has a pretty big one (Ealdhun) that she lets Celestians use, and the Aquamancers have a fully outfitted one (Starcrest), and the city is talking about buying one.

And I'm working on expanding mine. I only have two rooms right now though (command chair + empath grid).
