Okay. I just got the thought... If the Gods gave you the honour of making your own guild, what would it be, and where would it be located, if so? Let's just pretend that Tosha, Gaudi, and Hallifax are all cities, just to make it interesting!

I would make a monk guild that would be placed in Tosha. They could be Tosha's warrior class, but they don't use weapons, or if they do, they use staffs and stuff... We would have to make a specialization after Knighthood for the Monks... Like Empty-Handed, or something. What do you all think?

EDIT: And if you're thinking that the Monks'll have to be using the newbie attacks of Punch and Kick, nah. They'll use their hands for the Jab or something!

I would create the guild of Rainbowmancers. It would be a guild located above Serenwilde that resembled a mixture between Care-a-lot from carebares. and The world of lisa frank. We would be a completly peaceful guild. It would be coded in. People in our guild would find it impossible to weild weapons or kick or punch people. Or rainbows would be cleansing, both able to clear a demense completely, or we could replace it with our own marked with an arched rainbow.

That sucks. You'd have to put all of your lessons into Influencing... But that's just me. I like fighting!

Maybe a guild like the Occultists in Achaea for the Guardian Archtype in Gaudiguch. If you read the city's description, it says somewhere that the place loved chaos. Well, Occultists!

bumblebees- Call fat cute bumblebees to make a hive in your demense that be harvested for honey
Squeekyclean- Use your powers of rainbows and cuteness to wash away stinky odors
Blush- Use a tint to create blush in your makeup kit (wearing blush increases Charima .. can be applied to other people Does stack )

Rainbowsight - Allows you to peak into the area of anyone that is within a rainbow demense
Center - Move to the center of your demesne.
Butterflies- Call pretty butterflies whose flightly dance will dazzle your friends and enemies
Lipstick- Use any colour tint that you want to create lipstick in your makeupkit. (wearing increases Charisma can be appliwed to other people Does Stack)


Ladybugs - Call a swarm of friendly ladybugs who will buzz warningly when an enemy enters your location
Fireflies - Call upon these little creatures to illuminate any secret areas on the first try
Rainbowgems- Attain any type of translucent gem and infuse it with rainbow essence.
(Drop this rainbow gem on the ground you will return to whereever you have dropped it)
Hummingbirdhunger - The amount of food that you have to eat has decressed greatly.
Dragonflywings- You have reached a degree of cuteness where you can now grow dragonfly wings!
Pegasus - Call a beautiful black and rainbow pegasus to carry you to the skies!
FashionPolice - Find someone that is naked or essentially naked and lower their charisma for the day. If they look like royalty raise it for the day!

Rainbowstaff - A staff that allows you to sense the minds of even the most ferrocious creatures allowing you to influence them instead

That has to be the most girly-girlest thing I have ever read.... Wow.

I want an artistic guild... Bards, jesters or minstrels, maybe all three. The Performance pool is still empty, after all. We'd have Songsmith as our primary skill, specializing in Epic, Romantic, and Comic (Minstrels, bards and jesters, respectively). The second skill would be Musicality, with specialization in Strings, Drums, or Winds. And the third one would be a choice between Swashbuckling (To make a lone fighter) and Concerto (To fight in groups).

Songsmith would work by using ARIA/CANTATA . Arias work mediocrely without music, and decently with music. Cantatas work poorly without music, and much better than arias with music. A capella, the Epic trans skill, works almost as good as a cantata, but without music; it's impossible to a capella while you play anything.

Songsmith:
Call - Force your foe to pay attention, stripping him of deafness.
Aria - The basic song form; more effective with music. (Each song has a specific music, from Musicality, associated with it; if you play it while you sing, the song will be more effective.)
BattleCry - This Orclach song will harm your foes (Basic bashing skill, causes sonic damage.)
Praise - Give your foes illusions of grandeur.
Curse - Sap your enemy's mana with a magically enhanced song.
Cantata - This song form works much better with music.

Epic:
BattleHymn - Increase the attack power of your allies.
BattleCall - Force your foes to attack recklessly.
Tale - Force someone to listen to your tale.
Inspire - Raise your allies' ego momentarily with a rousing speech.
Saga - Continue your rambling tale into a deep, long saga.
CallingSong - Summon both allies and enemies to you, raising a great battle.
GrandSaga - Finish your saga with a powerful song. (Tale will start the Minstrel's instakill, the Saga. It damages ego; when ego reaches a certain point, you can use Saga, which damages ego and mana; when mana reaches a certain point, you can use the GrandSaga. Minstrels would work mostly on finishing their tales.)
ACapella - Sing perfectly without music.

Comic:
BrightSide - Sing a rousing song to lift your comrades' spirits and make them laugh.
UniverseSong - Transfix your foes by telling them about how huge the Aether is.
BadJoke - Confuse them with nonsense humour!
Limerick - Anger them with insulting verses.
Parody - Turn a bard's last song against him.
Satire - Make all members of a particular city feel ashamed.
OnlySerious - Make a dead serious joke about your enemy's death.
Sarcasm - Use a beneficial song to harm your foes.
Punchline - Finish your killer joke.
Ramble - Keep talking, and they might not notice you're gone.

I honestly hope it doesn't become a guild. I don't want artistic things like that to be restricted to a guild. It would be nice if it were something that everyone who wanted to could be a part of without leaving the guild they are currently in.

Hmm... Since we're talking about skills...:

The Monks would have a changed version of Knighthood, called Monkhood (orrigional, I know) Then they would specialize in Tekura, allowing them coolio combos with openhands, fists, legs, and staffs. Their secondary skill will be Chidon, where they'll use their Chi to do all sorts of stuffs, like heal, damage, inflictions, etc... Then, the last skill will either be: Hunting, Healing, or Dreamweaving.

Well, as far as Martial Arts go, I'd like to see a basic Martial arts with a ton of specialities. And I'd like Martial Arts not to be an archetype, but something everybody can have. So it would be a replacement for an alternate third skill.

There is a performance skill pool that is not in use yet, so I assume Verithrax's notes about some bardic-style skills will be forthcoming.

I want to see three Deepnight guilds, one a dark-ish bards guild (emo!), one a rogue/thief/assassin type thing, and one a group of enlightened mages, more about the mental stuff, less about the physical.

That would be cool...

like either primitive guns, or thrown axes or something like that. i still think that something like ancient chinese rockets would make a great archtype for hallifax and guadiguchi.
