Primary skill Piracy

Yarr!: Frighten your enemies from the area with this scary howl
Swing: Attack enemies with your sabre
Swim: Your mastery of the seas lets you swim without taking damage
Yohoho: This special ability summons a magic bottle of rum which, the more of you drink, the stronger you become (takes 10 power)
Shipcrafting: Using 100 wood commodities and a ship plan, create a pirate ship, and use 50 cloth for sails.
Avast Matey!: Call your allies to you if they are within a 20 room radius with this piratey call
Pillage: If in a village, stand still for 30 seconds after using this command to steal commodities, beware the guards though!
Cannon: Create cannons from iron commodities, fire at enemy ships. (Cannons only usable on a ship at sea)
Eyepatch: Wearing a tailor crafter eyepatch, conceal your identity
Hook: Wearing a hook increases your meele attack.
WalkThePlank: If on a ship at sea, punish anyone else aboard the ship with an instant kill by making them walk the plank.

With specialization choices between Swashbuckling and Seagoing...?
And they have drink resistance...?
With a secondary skill of...Pillaging?

Design issues aside (which I'll leave for others to review, if they so choose)...

That would make the tiniest boat you can imagine. Most beds are 200 wood, and even single tapestries use more cloth than that. wink.gif

Then, I want to be able to soak myself in a poison of my choosing, and then sacrafice myself for Faith, thereby killing myself at a loss of 1% exp, and spreading the poison to all non-this-guild members in the room...

Seeing as a few people wanted a Bard-Warrior archtype...

Well, first off, anyone read Bladesinger of the Warrior's Series of books by Forgotten Realms? Well, we could have the Bladesingers. People who follow the ways of the Song, which is just some spiritual like thing that gives them power and stuff. They'd use their Songs to do magically like damage, and one handed blades to do their real fighting and stuff.

Hm... How about Chronomancers ? I think, it's will be more interesting specialization for Cosmic skill-set, then existing ones.

The way I have seen that controlled is a bit like the mafia, you could only hit shops etc that the guild said was fair game. If you did something outside what the guild wanted you to do, then the guild would get other members to remind you not to do it again, anything from being roughed up to killed.

It was a bit different because it was more about roleplaying than skilling up, so it might not work here.

Seers. Would be similar to native american shamans or mayan shamans. Roots in the spirit world. Seers would "suffer" from being in the guild, eventually losing sight, but the literal sense of sight would be replaced by spiritual sight. Would be more interested in non-combative forms, such as influencing and RP. Would have sub-skills such as astrology, tarot, and dreamweaving. Would require lowmagic to learn. Its 7:32 AM right now. Brain has gone out the window and taken a break.

Incant: Call upon the forces of the spirit world at will. (Grants SIGHT syntax ability. Original attack)
Circle: By drawing the figure of a circle into the ground, the seer is granted second sight. (Thirdeye ability)
Channeling: Channel the five forces of the spiritual realm into yourself. (Allows instant calling of spirits. Only one "channel" may be opened at any given time)
Igig: The spirit of the eastern mountains grants stability and wisdom. (+1 Int and +1 Const)
Aldan: The spirit of the southern deserts grants serenity in the face of hardships. (Randomly heals afflictions)
Darksteps: Use the sight of the darkest hour to foresee probable events. (First attack misses)
InnerChant: Your sight is enhanced and no longer needs the weight of the physical world. (Constant Faeleaf affect)
Yeldirg: The spirit of the northern snowlands grants truth in the midst of deception. (reveals hidden beings)
TenCircle: By drawing ten circles, one within the other, the seer is granted renewed life by the blessing of the spirit world. (Heals health at random). once all ten circles have healed, tencircle stops healing
Aznethal: The spirit of the western forests grants hope and clarity. (Bonus to influencing using charity or charm)
Triangle: By drawing the sacred triangle on the ground, where three worlds meet, the seer is granted the past's forgotten story. (RP affect. Various "spiritual hotstops" located throughout the basin. If the triangle is used at these places, an episode of "forgotten" lore is revealed. Required three seers in order to trigger)
ReleaseSpirit: Release the spirits under your sway to return to the spirit world. (Immediate release of spirits. Gets rid of all bonuses gain by spirits)
Yovah: The spirit of the inner gate grants freedom in times of binding. (Heals broken limbs if not entangled. If entangled, "burns" away the entanglement)
LightSteps: Use the sight of the brightest hour to to burn away the illusion of reality. (Instant death to seer if not afflicted by illusions skillset based ailments. Causes damage per affliction to the illusionist responsible for afflictions if afflictions are present)
Paevon: The spirit of the outer gate grants power for a price. (Attack is increased using "Seeing". Can only be used if all other spirits are present within the Seer. If the seer tries to call upon Paevon and the other required spirits are not present, they suffer half life/half mana drain immediately)
Truth: There is no greater truth than what you are able to see. (Able to influence spiritual entities. Constant beneficial blindness and deafness. Must have all previous spirits mentioned bound to seer. Negated if one spirit is lost from the seer.)
SolacesRage: Open the doors of the spirit realm to tend to your spiritual angst and slay those foolish enough to test the patience of a Seer. (Instant death if Mana is 2/3s gone)

Hummingbirdhunger - The amount of food that you have to eat has decressed greatly.
Dragonflywings- You have reached a degree of cuteness where you can now grow dragonfly wings!
Pegasus - Call a beautiful black and rainbow pegasus to carry you to the skies!
FashionPolice - Find someone that is naked or essentially naked and lower their charisma for the day. If they look like royalty raise it for the day!

- A staff that allows you to sense the minds of even the most ferrocious creatures allowing you to influence them instead

We were talking about this on Bellator a while ago - a guild of mechanics. One of the skillsets would revolve around little tanks you would drive around and different types of artillery you could use.
