No its not.. atleast it wasn't when I last had the skillset. Its mostly puns.

my english translations are rough, however when I had the skillset and looked at them (trying my hardest to find the "inacuaracies") I found that the skills fit the hebrew meaning of the words very well.

Ok, I just looked at the skillset... And your right, the skillset does not fit the Tree of life very well, based on the simple explanation I gave... However the Tree of life is NOT a simple thing, and the skills -DO- fit the traditional and more meaningfull education of such things.

If its not a problem showing the the skills that are relevant, I can explain...

But for example, Binah being connected to the "mother" is part of the "receptive nature of Wisdom" and how the mother is associate with Greater wisdom.

From what I've read, which again isn't a great deal, the philosophy and theory surrounding the Tree of Life is incredibly complex. It's not easy to boil down into a few sentences, or even a few paragraphs. The HighMagic skills do seem to represent some aspects of the corresponding sefirah, but they're certainly not all-encompassing. There's potential for a great deal of RP development surrounding it, given that we can assume from the teaching msgs that a great deal more theory and meaning can be derived from the sefirah than the powers endowed by the actual skills.

There's a pinned map topic if you want to make that look nicer. smile.gif

If you're looking for some pretty creative inspiration of the Tree of Life, check out Promethea, a great comic series from Alan Moore. This is the most entertaining look at Hermetic Magic, Kabbalah, and other such works. Books 3 and 4 have them travelling up the tree of life.

Oh, and...Tiphereth...hmm... ninja.gif

When I read that, it somehow remind me about Karmatron, which was a comic book of the 80's. I actually have "The Guide for the Kundalini Warrior" which is a great book for a kid to understand about Buddhism and stuff like that ninja.gif
