And yet, it's still not the first ever aether raid.
Amaru's been doing this kind of thing for years.

It is really hard to ram a ship actually, Two shots from the Lundar Veradin killed Kaervas's ship.

Name a better one then
Manjanaia2006-02-21 20:01:17
Someone help me out here, I went and looked up cheap, I didn't see calculated and devious assassination anywhere.
Narsrim2006-02-21 20:04:48
Cheap? I would say using divine fire and prize return to exploit the atherways is cheap. Taking advantage of it and turning it into a booby trap is, however, not therefore cheap.

I would say that sitting in someone's manse in order to kill them is cheap. It always has been, it always will be. When it's docked, it's technically a manse.
Either way, it's no different than various things that Amaru has done in the aetherways, so it's definitely not the "first" of anything.
Narsrim2006-02-21 20:07:13
It wasn't docked when we killed him. So by your logic, it wasn't a manse and wasn't cheap!

It was docked when you exploited a bug to sneak on board, so by my logic... yeah, it was both.
Ethelon2006-02-21 20:15:13
sounds like typical Narsrim to abuse a bug and claim innocence..or claim it something other to try and make himself look good... the ego you have scares me, alot.
Narsrim2006-02-21 20:21:50
Let me get this straight. Narsrim abused a bug because Malicia did a portal search at Krumkindivia and saw she could enter Kaervas's manse?
That's golden. I suppose I'm once again responsible for
1. Doing something I didn't do
2. Something I had no possible way of knowing even if I could do it.
3. Something I had no possible way of knowing to inform Malicia
===================================================
I just don't understand how that counts as "abuse" but trying to prove X-factor by abusing grace on an alt and them complaining when it was removed was legit...

I'd say that's perfectly acceptable. I mean, why even have Prized if you can't, you know, use it? I think he was just being creative.

Bug?
Unknown2006-02-21 20:24:32
*hides in the back of narsrim's truck* Nobody here but us bear pelts.
Soll2006-02-21 20:24:34
Oh, calm down. No-one knew it was a bug. No-one even knew the reason why Malicia was able to get onboard. However, she could, and it would not have been something that Malicia, Narsrim, or Munsia as characters would have avoided if given the opportunity. So yes, while it may have been a bug, it was by no means purposefully used in an exploitative manner.
Narsrim2006-02-21 20:26:12
I'll never own a truck, I think they are tacky. But you can hide in the back of my jeep wrangler... it might be difficult, but if anyone could pull it off Jello, you could.
Torak2006-02-21 20:35:27
Hardly something to brag about. Also, astral assults weren't sitting in a manse that used a bug to get into with 3 other people + a demesne waiting for 1 person. There is a huge difference. Also - I miss those logs, I am gonna have to whip Amaru into fighting again.

Why, oh why do I get the firm impression of a child seeking attention from his parent from this thread. It just screams, "Mommy, Mommy look at me! Look at what I did!"
I think it is rather a matter of some mortals teaming and subsequently killing a Demigod. For reference look here

Xenthos2006-02-21 21:45:56
I will quote Shamarah and say...
Is this supposed to be interesting or something?
Edit: Oh, and Narsrim... "I thought I was bad stroking my ego in public, but at least in Lusternia, I have some wicked competition."
