But anyway, what was this thread about again?

Stroking Narsrims ego, so in theory you should start making fun of him.

"Daevos obviously thinks"

Hmm, I seriously wonder when you became privy to my very thoughts. Do you truly believe that you are that talented?

Though, I guess shouldn't be surprised this isn't the first time that you have attempted to give voice to thoughts that other people supposedly have.

I may be assuming, yes... but well, when we infer we often do so. You are more than welcome to debate the content of what I said, however.

Something about trolls, I think.

I was going to, then Kaervas started stroking his, then others joined in, and it was just a big giant orgy of stroking and, frankly, I liked it.

Group stroking is always good. That one time in band camp...

troll
v. trolled, troll·ing, trolls

An individual who chronically trolls in sense 1; regularly posts specious arguments, flames or personal attacks to a newsgroup, discussion list, or in email for no other purpose than to annoy someone or disrupt a discussion. Trolls are recognizable by the fact that the have no real interest in learning about the topic at hand - they simply want to utter flame bait. Like the ugly creatures they are named after, they exhibit no redeeming characteristics, and as such, they are recognized as a lower form of life on the net, as in, "Oh, ignore him, he's just a troll."

Shayle2006-02-21 22:40:56
Narsrim always come across as fairly intelligent, so of course that leads me to wonder...

How did he, Malicia et al not come to the conclusion that something was rather wrong when Malicia had manse permissions?

I find it facscinating how the ever-astute Narsrim could have possible failed to notice something so obviously amiss. He manages to argue quite eloquently, but also manages to find ways to be totally and blissfully ignorant of things that look suspiciously like abuse.

OMG that was you at band camp? It was so dark I couldn't tell who was what and what went there!

Damn, and I always wondered who was that that did this and that to me while I was busy doing that and the other thing with those people... unsure.gif

I didn't actually want to post again, seeing what this thread has become, but, aside from the fact that you have enlightened us as to what trolls exactly are, wouldn't your post fit into exactly that category you described? A personal attack? Flame? Ultimatly, adding nothing constructive to the topic at hand?

EDIT:Edited the image out, too big
Ashteru2006-02-21 22:46:57
Well, I don't see where you get the flame thing from. Kaerv' just posted the definition of troll to back up Narsrims statement of him being a troll, with a funny little picture to enlighten the eye too.
Kaervas2006-02-21 22:47:31
This thread was never constructive, no need to start making it so.

Did it strike me as odd? Certainly. A golden opportunity? Indeed! Did it strike me as an Order bug when Fain's Order got screwed up with Terentia's Order? No, I can't really say it did.

I'm guess I'm not "that" intelligent afterall.

Just to add something:
My imagination of Kaervas:
IPB Image

There once was a little frog from Nentucket,
equipped with a staff and looking like a muppet,
he jumped around and cast some magic,
but his end was really tragic.
He joined the dark side and moved into a stinky city,
and once he reached titan he was able to become itty-bitty.
What was the name of this frog I ask thee?

This is the first time I see "stroke" in a thread so many times that was not related to either pornography or heart disease ninja.gif

So that would mean Soll is Fozzie Bear, Munsia is Rizzo the Rat, Malicia is Miss Piggy and Narsrim is Gonzo?

This strikes me as somewhat funny. A stroke is a rupture or obstruction of a blood vessel to the brain not the heart smile.gif

I bet Narsrim was the little kid the Nerds took the lunchmoney from when theirs was taken away by the brutes.

The page isn't working, but actually, I always had friends who were older than me so in your scenario, my friends would have been the brutes. I have a thing for older (although no more than 5 years older) men.
