Go back and read Aiakon. I think you'll find that other people have been creating threads like this all the time except that people like you either don't have the courage or motivation to speak out when its someone like Daevos or Murphy who posts something similar.

In refrence to Daevos's thread about killing the demigod, it sounded to me like people wanted to see how she was killed. *shrug*

All of the accusations of lack of skill, cheap attacks, etc in here are a bit rediculous.

Granted, sitting in his manse and waiting for him wasn't an eloquent battle plan. It was a last resort, given that Kaervas did everything he could to run from them. When people keep trying to hide, you do what you have to in order to trap them. It seems clever enough to me to set up a trap in Kaervas' manse - obviously it was a clever enough trap that Kaervas fell for it, and they accomplished their goal.

That being said, there's not much point to this thread other than exactly what Narsrim said, to gauge the different ractions of several specific people depending on who posted the original logs. It's interesting enough, but now that we know everyone is horribly biased, let it die!

Incidentally, ramming wasn't working the last time we tested it.

I also don't really see how ship combat will be easily achieved yet. Docked ships are 100% invincible... and aetherspace is so vast there's really not much chance of finding someone if you let them get even the tiniest lead on you.

That is the real question, I want to see a log of the aquamancer ship vs the geomancer floating mountain.

But yea the log is equivalent to someone showing a log of three people sitting in any manse they shouldn’t actually be able to get into and killing the unexpected house owner when they come home. Sure it’s good for kicks and giggles for everyone involved but its nothing particularly interesting, intelligent or original. Everyone just chill out though its all good everyone smile and be happy it’s nothing to get worked up about.

Considering from the sounds of what nars was saying they spent more time chasing and waiting in his ship for kaevas than the time its going to take kaevas to get his essence back.

Motivation.. true enough. When I read a crass forum thread simply designed to OOCly salt the wounds of another player, and it's done by my own side I sigh and stop reading. When it's done by the other side, I speak out. There's not an enormous amount of point alienating my own city mates.. but either way, I DON'T LIKE IT. My rants on the Good Sportsmanship thread can leave no one in any doubt about where I stand on this issue no matter who's issue it is.

Actually you are wrong - I haven't looked at one of Murphy's logs since like open beta. :teach:
