Crow cloak provides some poison resistance, and I'm fairly sure Crowform provides some sort of resistance as well as some buffs. Also, they have a facepaint to instantly protect them from entanglement effects and I think this works on denizens but I haven't tested it recently.
DarkRebirth is a very good skill to give no experience loss on death, keep in mind though in order to use it they have to bash for corpses to store in their nest. This means they still have to bash in order to keep it up but they do have the added effect of being able to normally bash to level up and protect the experience they gained by using the corpses.

I've been told you can bash enough denizens for darkrebirth in fifteen minutes INSIDE glomdoring, so I'm not sure I see that as a disadvantage I'm not actually complaining, as Sacrifice, the skill that Stag got in place of Darkrebirth, is also absurd. I just wish there was SOME way around transmigration effects in general (besides the Celestian skill Inquisition).
Crowform shouldn't provide any special resistance, as Stagform doesn't, and the two are parallels. Stagform does give a +1 health regen bonus (2%, yay?). Protection from entangle effects is nice if it works on things besides web and vines and hangedman.

You can pick herbs here as a warrior in any community. Its good money but you need to be able to get over all the different planes. So you need lots of planar skill to use it well.
Alchemy - i.e. healing potions are low on the list so you can theoretically make more money that way.
Every other trade skill isn't really good for making money specifically.

I'm not sure I agree there - I've made a ton from tailoring over the years. The problems arise when people sell their services too low. Alchemy is done in large bulk, so when you charge a little bit for labor, you're still making a fair amount of money since your orders are so large. When you charge a little bit for labor with, say, Tailoring, you're only making that little bit, since your orders are usually a single item.

Aye, I was just noting the fact that you do have to bash to keep it up and I do think the corpse value for carrion should be reduced.

I think I must have confused Crowform with something else and after some testing it appears Spiderweb facepaint has no effect on denizens. I guess the ability to fly helps with bashing if you need to run?

Not all tailors will make good money though. But all herbalists will.

Really? I've heard many herbalists complaining about the unavailability of herbs and all the hours and hours they spend replanting entire regions. But then again, I'm more likely to hear people complain about the downsides than brag about the money they're making

Having just transed tailoring. I've been wondering a bit about this, how much to charge. I'm figuring commodities plus a percentage, but I'm not sure. 20% seems reasonable, but maybe that's too low for some.

but I charge a flat fee for each type of clothing, since it's simpler that way. When selling in shops at least, I give random discounts/markups when selling to people based on commodities and how much I like the person In general, 600 gold for a backpack, 600 for a shirt, 700 for pants, 1,200 for a cloak, 1,300 for a dress, etc. Greatrobes based on how high the enchant is on them (sold 63/44 robes for 25,000 just a bit ago ). The general way I price things is I take the commodity cost of the most expensive thing in the set and sell all of that type for that price, rounded up to the nearest hundred. So, I make nothing at all selling the most expensive item, but a fair profit selling the less expensive items. It generally works out well without seeming unfair to me.

I made a ton of money on this method, except I sold the most expensive items at a sliiiight loss, which let me undercut people on the big stuff, and upon seeing that, people were often likely to buy the smaller stuff from my shop as well, which is what I made the profit from.
Yay for having parents in advertising!

Since there's Shorlen, Tiran, and Fallen servicing the community with tailoring, (not to mention shops and verithrax, and a couple of other players more) there's a smaller chance for you to get customers in tailoring. Go herbalist or alchemist.
You said you wont buy credits and will just rely on ingame credits, so I think this will be your problem: Put too many lessons in your trade skill and you wont be able to get enough lessons for your main skills. Put just a little amount of lessons in your trade and you wont do much.
I suggest just using your main skills and go bash.

I only use in-game credits as well, not really wanting to use money on a game, and I find that gold isn't that hard to come by once you can bash higher-level beings like gorgogs. It's just that the darn credit market is so messed up right now--------lower the prices!
