I'd love to see something like a lapdesk, you'd have to sit on the ground and wield it or something. Also what you write with this can't be published as it's not highquality (so desks still sell)

lacking that, notepad would be an awesome idea.

If you want to be really crafty you can try to take out a sketchpad in arts, change your description to be your note, and then sketch yourself! *cackle*

Lately several Basin dwellers have been sneaking into the Mesa Compound and stealing away our Trill warriors and making them follow about. As the culprits wish to write they tie down the said Trill and pluck a feather from their wings and making a small cut on their forearms allowing some blood flow. They would then dip the feather base within the welled up blood and procede to write in their journals.
This must stop! We are losing our protection against the dispicable Dracnari Nomads and risk losing our work to them. Not only this the Trill are severely traumatized and require extra care for long periods of time.
The Divine and the Matrix we seek to free only know when the others shall turn on our Trill siblings within the Cities and the Communes.
