You know what would be nice... You only get exp while hunting in the aetherspace if your sitting in a module, either a turret, the grid or the chair.
This way, stowaways can't grab xp, but people who are contributing to the battle do.

At the 50th circle, I can not hunt on any of the aether bubbles I have found, without facing a disgustingly pitiful death...have you all tried the bubbles?
How is the bubble exp return when based on Time spent there?
Just quoted so that I don't have to write that question....is it worth to get a little ship just to get to the bubbles?

I didn't realize it wasn't this way, but I think it should be.

I agree with only getting experience if you are locked into a module.
Also, as per the "New Astral" argument...If you had to pay 600k just for the right to go to Astral, and then another million+ to actually be able to hunt there, wouldn't you want it to be fairly useful to you, also?

I think the bubbles are fairly decent Ashteru, being as I can not even begin to survive there at 50, so they must b nice exp/time spent hunting for somepeople...

I thought that was how it worked already?

Does it? Narsrim said you can drag novices on your ship without them doing anything...

I actually don't care about experience anymore, hehe...it's just a nice sideffect when bashing for gold...

He meant you could drag novices along, have them learn a little aethercraft and lock em into a collector or other module. I'm pretty sure you have to be locked in in order to gain experience from hunting.

Well then, thats not really doing nothing, now is it.. *peer*

He means you can lock them into the cloaking module, say, and just let them ride along.
It's not really any worse than taking a novice along bashing gorgogs, or bubbleside.

What were you killing, dragons and tendrils?
No, just a lot of hydrians, gorgogs, pyrinnes, slanikks, cloeirs, and lixins. I was one of the ones on a turret and I think I'd gotten around 4% or so by the time we were through. At level ... what am I? Unearthly, whichever that is. 74, maybe?
Daganev2006-02-28 20:07:46
Has anyone tested if different modules give different amounts of xp?
