I told myself I was quitting for good, gave all my stuff away, and didnt play for 3 or 4 weeks. Then started to read the forums the other day, and now I feel that lust to play lust again even though I quit because I was unbelievably bored with it. Do it!
Yay!

I have decided to keep the sales up of my items as either way I don't really need them and I can use the funds to make a new life for Anisu. Also Icly it sorta symbolizes the new start for Anisu.
For now I'm going to try and get more involved with guild, especially with novices, less combat and less meddling in politics and slowly change anisu's personality to a nicer one, though keeping it plausable.
And thanks Catarin, for the help in starting that.

Personally, I might have been one year without playing lusternia, and each time I feel tempted to log back I find out that:
- conflict runs rampant. The only way to be safe is to stay in the Mother Tree surrounded by emoting people.
- My friends and people I liked their RP are 80% dormant
- I do gwho and owho and there's nobody I know around.
- I feel bored again as when I left.
So I go back to my dormancy.
So, no, no taking a long break or you might end up not wanting to play again.

You never give it enough time, Iridiel. Mebbe 80% of the old RPers have vanished.. doesn't mean there hasn't been a load to replace them... and conflict isn't -that- bad.
I remember when you were waxing lyrical to me on Achaea about Lusternia... *sigh* I think you should give it a good go again. Come to Magnagora.
Iridiel2006-03-06 11:40:15
I defend the Lusternia idea and potential.
I dislike some managing decisions and this giving people overpowered skill in the hope they will be nice and won't abuse it.
About giving it time, I read the forums and I just cannot be bothered, as things are exactly like when I left if not worse, and I don't feel like spending hours online. Serenwilde has some of the best people of the game, but sometimes I feel like going all ctoff and ignoring the annoying "snuggling furball" that appears now and then in the form of yet another oh-so-original novice furrikin. And I cannot go to Magnagora. My char loves being an elf moondancer and a Lisae. Althana wouldn't go to Celest for all the gold in the world (would kidnap some Celestians, though) and frankly, Glomdoring have certain personalities that I just don't want to be in any way related to. So... Relocating myself in the actual Lusternia would be just too difficult.
Mmmm who were you in Achaea? Now you got me lost.

This would be the third time we've had this conversation, Irid. I'm your Achaean brother damnit. Do all those years of happy siblingship mean nothing? *sob*
Iridiel2006-03-06 15:24:06
My bad memory is legendary *hugs brother* *blushes*
But you know I cannot play well the evil tainted one... I am too cute
And too neutral. And too conflict avoiding.
And viscanti are ugly

Everiine2006-03-06 19:32:25
You know what the strongest link Everiine has to Lusternia? His mate ! Seriously, if you find just one person who means everything to your character, the game becomes a lot more interesting. Even when his mate isn't in the realms, Everiine does what he does to make her happy, so nothing seems like a bad decision anymore. Unfortunately, I know that family doesn't work for everyone, but if it hasn't been tried yet, why not take a stab at it?

Coimbat's boring! To expensive and almost as bad as bashing... Although doing a few honours quests is fun, especially the wolf/taurian one...
