Your aura of weapons rebounding disappears.
Swinging a mighty waraxe in an underhand arc, you strike at Silimaur. You slash completely through his left leg, which immediately plops to the ground, leaving only a bloody stump.
Horror overcomes Silimaur's face as his body stiffens into paralysis.

Base of a coral spire.
An enormous, twisty coral spire reaches up from the ground, stretching out of
sight and above the waves. The spire's interior is hollow, and the entryway is
decorated with sapphires and other glittering gems that are illuminated by some
flaming sconces placed upon the wall and cast dazzling refractions of the light
around the room. A staircase formed out of coral curves up in the room's center,
its rough surfaces showing that it has apparently grown that way naturally and
not been cut into the odd spiral shape. Outside of the tower, the great walkways
continue far into the distance to the northwest and west, and the great ruined
city of Glomborolum is visible in the distance. A golden retriever is here,
panting quietly to himself. There are 2 gruesome scalps here. A mutilated stump
of a leg lies twitching on the ground. Lights Justice Sir Silimaur, Igashen Fury
is here. He wields a shining star-emblazoned broadsword in each hand.
You see exits leading west, northwest, and up.

I think the way that works is, they cant stand if they are prone. They dont just fall you have to make them. I also think they are able walk out of the room like normal.
Unknown2006-03-01 21:01:10
But you have to hobble if you have a broken leg, but you walk normally if you're just missing one. I guess the broken one just gets in the way?
Richter2006-03-01 21:01:24
They should hop.
Ekard2006-03-01 21:02:46
I think Silimaur could hobble like with broken leg but cose of engage message could be different?
Unknown2006-03-01 21:04:30
It's just so retarded on so many levels, what is wrong with them.
Ekard2006-03-01 21:05:26
Cut his second leg off or tackle him to next room.

MESSAGE YOUR ENVOY!
Unknown2006-03-01 21:13:14
How about Estarra fires the people who don't speak english, because this will probably be chalked up to miscommunication. You shouldn't have to message an envoy to get a huge bug fixed like this. What's really sad about it though is that everyone but me apparently knew this already and it still hasn't been fixed.

Or perhaps Estarra should ban people who put demands and insults upon a staff who already do great and wonderful things for us and bust their butts to give us the things we want.
Ceren2006-03-01 21:52:09
If you envenom calcise would it break the other leg and cause them to fall over or would it break the same leg that was amputated and do essentially nothing?
Unknown2006-03-01 21:58:50
I may be out of my place here, but whats the big deal? Wow, they don't hop, Wow they don't hobble.
my point = it's not a big deal!
Lets fire people who work their butts off, because they forgot to make people with one leg hobble! Lets permanently stunt the growth of Lusternia, for wanting of a hobbling player.

Considering once a leg is amputated, you cannot target it again until it is healed, I would guess that calcise would break the other leg. Could be wrong though.

It is a big deal, it means something isn't working. I suppose they'll get to it when they have time though.

Just to clarify, you do realize that Estarra and other "Elder Gods" are not really "Gods" irl, but actually people right...?
Plus, I don't know if you have any experience being on the other side, but I'd say 50-75% of bugs are likely this: Help! I a vial in my inventory disappeared. Imagine having to sort through that crap and then try and fix stuff. It wouldn't be easy. Likewise, you always have the "if I do X, I cause an unknown code error" which is always top priority over hobbling.
If you, however, want something fixed then you should message your envoy. If you are too damn lazy or unmotivated to do so, then you really have no room to complain.

It's just a logic error, you . Did you even check with Silimaur to see if he still had hobble lag or if he could just walk out regardless of the injury? If you want to bitch about "bugs" at least have the decency to follow through with appropriate tests and not because "you couldn't cut off his leg."
And your entire comment is totally uncalled for and not even the issue. Being immature and disrespectful isn't the way to get attention. I'm sorry, but you're no longer playing a Blizzard game.
Unknown2006-03-02 02:46:12
It's a huge logic error that apparently has been around for a really long time if everyone but me knew about it. I guess I just have higher standards than the rest of you I guess, to be considering it a big deal when someone walks around with one leg normally and actually has that worked into their tactics because the admin have had it bugged like that for so long.
Ialie2006-03-02 03:02:27
Higher standards? Did you just say higher freaking standards? Who the F*ck do you think you are? OMG! WTF!
The staff works their asses off for us. I don't think we could ask for better staff. What an unappretiative prickish comment.
Gah.
I'll tell you were to stick your high standards.

Well, I just know how much hell it is looking through a bunch of code whether you have comment tags or not throughout those thousands and thousands of lines. It's just my opinion that if you're going to complain about something that you should at least help by narrowing down where someone should look in their source code by doing your part as well.
It's no different than Quality Assurance tests in other gaming companies and the detailed work they have to go through while testing. It's very hard when you have a coding staff that you can count on with ONE hand and a numerous amount of bugs (whether legit or not) that need prioritizing, have to be located, and then fixed all while providing the consumer new content in a timely manner.
Envoys reports are currently being sorted through as well. I'm sure if it hasn't been added to their list then you could help them and yourself greatly by doing further tests.

It has been bugged in game, mentioned in previous envoy reports, and discussed on these boards before. It's just that either a) The admin does not think it is a problem, or They haven't gotten around to fix it yet. Either way I don't see myself having lower standards just because I do not insult and whine and cry and bitch about it.
