Higher standards? Did you just say higher freaking standards? Who the F*ck do you think you are? OMG! WTF!
The staff works their asses off for us. I don't think we could ask for better staff. What an unappretiative prickish comment.
Gah.
I'll tell you were to stick your high standards.
You tell him, Ialie.

Go back to Imperian then. Though I shall weep for them.
I have to say, you're a heck of a lot less annoying there than you are here. It seems as soon as it's Lusternia's time to host the 'bi-annual' IRE parasite, you start making threads for every transient thought that passes through your brain.
If you feel the need to make a thread on the Imperian forums to show that you 'hate Lusternia', I guess you won't need to come back.

And he complains on the Imperian forums..
Is it really that serious? So childish.

So... Because of an incredibly minor flaw on the oh-so-realistic combat system, which is probably by design, you come here, insult our administration, and then go whine on the Imperian forums when everyone calls attention to your... Well, Ialie put it better than I could. All I can say is:
EDIT:
I guess I have higher standards than you when it comes to writing my posts. Seriously. To quote Murphy, toughen up. Lusternia is a hugely complicated system with huge amounts of bugs, and your little issue, if it's even a bug, isn't close to being important. Offending the administration won't help, either.

It's a huge logic error that apparently has been around for a really long time if everyone but me knew about it. I guess I just have higher standards than the rest of you I guess, to be considering it a big deal when someone walks around with one leg normally and actually has that worked into their tactics because the admin have had it bugged like that for so long.

Even if it's a bug? So you're saying it might not be a bug that people can stand/walk normally while missing a leg, and at the same time saying you don't have lower standards. Anyway, I made a couple posts asking how Lusternia had progressed in my absence, everyone said it was great, I put in more time and money to chop off some noob's leg and he didn't fall down. Grrr! If you can't use the forums to vent what good are they I guess me and him will just have to walk it off.
ferlas2006-03-02 09:11:25
This was all pretty constructive then, if you think its a bug bug report it, no need to get all upset or insult people over something like this.
EDIT: you get a cookie +1 if anyone remembers that

Okay:
1) The fact you called someone a 'noob' means you automatically lose. This isn't fricken WoW.
2) The combat system isn't all that realistic. I mean, seriously, have you been paying attention to it? Severing someone's leg with an axe like that, and the person not only surviving but being able to cure it with a salve isn't realistic. You lost a fight because the system didn't act the way you expected it to. Toughen up and keep that in mind for the next fight.
3) There's a difference between 'venting' and insulting the administration and playerbase like that.
4) This should be on 'Idiots'.
5) Posting the same whine to Imperian after you've been thoroughly chastised is horribly crass. To quote someone from the Imperian forums:
QUOTE
I dare say you'd get chewed out here too if, after posting another thread in a long, long string of retarded questions and stupid suggestions, you then complained about a fairly minor bug and said that Avasyu should fire staff because it's so retarded the bug exists.
We need a new IRE world. Just for you.

For extremely good reasons, personal attacks on these forums get moderated. So, Jello, I'd like you to close your eyes for 15 seconds, and IMAGINE what I want to say to you.
Cwin2006-03-02 13:42:04
I'd also like to note that the coding staff here has ALREADY said that development is going to be slowed by the fact they're updating everything for the new Rapter engine. As such, bug fixes that don't end up destroying all life as we know it will take a moment to fix. This isn't the first ugly bug that hung on for a while before dying and, like the others (i.e. the Balance issue, and the 'missing arm'), this will get squashed too.
The posters were in general agreement with you, Jello, about how it's a bug and that it's a bother. The posts were mostly in the realm of "Should it really work like that?" and posts telling of ways to handle it (and Nars, but he has a knack for pushing buttons ).
Then you decide to let your arger get to you. Fire the staff? We just got an entire new system of exploration, the start of a complete overhall to Orders, the Debate annoyances fixed, and villages getting an overhall among other things and you go off on a bug that is NOT a common occurance*?
No, we're not going to play nice to THAT, thank you very much.
*Yes, it's NOT common to have a leg severed off. There aren't that many Axelords or Pureblades out there and, of them, most focus on Beheadings. Also those people are more concerned about the lack of variety in the skillsets. Has this been found before? Yes. Was it pushed aside to deal with the other matters we thought took priority? Yes. Should you expect every single thing to be fixed by the few coders we have here? No.
Can you vent about it? Sure. Can you personally insult the staff in doing so? No.

I'll agree with Jello insofar that this is a pretty annoying bug and I personally wouldn't say it's low priority... especially if you do take into account the whining about the few options warriors have, and how people do seem to go mostly for beheads. Reason for that being, well, cutting off someone's limbs, the other cool thing about pureblade/axelord, doesn't work
But then again I guess this might well be one of the more tricky and work-intensive bugs, so I can see why they do postpone it if the skill as such still works well enough for the realm not to cry havok.
I also think there should be a way to push someone over once you have their leg severed. You try standing on one leg and then NOT falling over when anyone gives you a wee bit of a shove.
I mean, if someone hacks off your friggen LEG, the fight should be pretty much done and over.
other than that... calm dooown everyone. So Jello went into Troll mode there, no need to lose your smooth eh?
Bad Jello

You're soooo late. I think he's gone off to Aetolia by now.
And couldn't he have just tackled or something if he wanted to drop them?
