Time played that session
i'd ment of which significance are they? i appears to me as 4 hours and some minutes and seconds, as i don't think i've ever seen something displayed as day:hour:minute, and i don't think that someone could possibly be on for 4 days straight. and four minutes doesn't make any sence, i think.
Tsuki2006-03-02 04:13:16
Hours:minutes:seconds. The four hours and some doesn't make much sense until you add it to the eighteen plus hours I'd already been on earlier from the first post.

I once spent 15+ hours holding a demesne in Estelbar.. waiting for the revolt.. (it ended up happening 3 minutes after a bug wiped my demesne out).. and this was after spending an hour+ going into Magnagora and breaking a Geo-demesne that extended through the mountains to the highway outside of the village and back into Mag.. and that was after a few other hours of playing normally.
I had a small nervous breakdown after that long of playing and then having the bug wipe out all the effort.

I definitely can't beat anyone's record. I think the longest I've played in a single session is about 5-6 hours and that was during a revolt.
By the way, more and more I want to buy Zmud, just for the mapper.

THAT's who you are. Yeah, that was dumb

I know i've played 19ish hours a few times, and as I don't want to geuss, I can't say what my max time-all-at-once as been.
I useally get a little jittery after 15+ hours at once.
My computer screen seems to shrink down to 1/4th it's normal size and I keep blinking my eyes wondering whats going on.

Bloody hell. I've never played for more than about 5 or 6 at a time.
And what's that map thing, Tsuki? That's cool. I want one.

It's part of zMud. I've got one of my own, but I am curious about how to dock it with the main zMud window- it's currently floating off by itself in the corner looking all lonely and dejected.
Aiakon2006-03-02 21:02:11
Ah. Well I'm perfectly prepared to admit there's vast areas of ZMUD I don't and will probably never understand. I think I'll just carry on putting maps in my head like I always have.

You just drag it about until the littlebox goes to the full size of the screen, like so its tabbed same as what happens if you open two games at once, like lusternia and achaea. Then you do split screen or what ever its called cant rememebr now not with zmud, then just arrange it how you like it.

Thanks! I've been working on it awhile but it's not a high priority at all so it's not going to get finished even with the places I will go, much less all the places out there. If I had it more done, I'd considered offering it to people I guess, but ... not going to happen for awhile if ever. I've got color-coding for environment of herb-type and water, and some denizens and other places of importance. S'nice.

I fiddled with it awhile before I got it like that. I'd prefer having it half that size, in the bottom right corner, but I'd need something else to put above it I think. For the longest time I had it in a thin bar at the top, which I got by just moving it around until I got this outline of a box where it'd go, and let it go. Then I fiddled more later with Layout -> Autotiling, Tiled Horizontally ... Lock Layout ... Save Layout ... things like that.
... and from being on all that time yesterday (yesterday?), even with sleeping over-long my eyes still feel strained now. Counting 7 hrs 37 minutes at the moment.

My longest timing of playing Lusternia in one sitting is probably along the lines of 12 - 14 hours.
Back in the good old days, when men were men, Visaeris could fight and deep-vein thrombosis was a frighteningly real risk.

Hmm...the longest i've spent on Lusternia I think was 24 hours straight. Running on lots of caffine and giggliness of insane friends helped.
Unknown2006-03-05 14:31:09
Lusternia, not all that long. Maybe 5 hours, tops. But I remember landmarking in Achaea and staying around from dawn till...after dawn the next day. Whee, fun.

I just find this very amusing, probably because of sleep deprivation. I desperately needed sleep when Stewartsville revolted, so much so that I was shaking during it ... but I stayed. And we got it!
But onto the funny. Screen shot of my window just before I quit out. For those not familiar with Zmud, the numbers conveniently circled in orangey-red are hours:minutes:seconds. I think this might be my new record for a whole span of time, as the previous ones were generally about an hour or two less.
Do I win anything for addiction/insanity? And I'm sure (or, I hope) I'm not the only one. Who else has crazy-long single play-times?
I clicked the image, but I can't read it... grrr... why didn't I bring my glasses today?!
can anyone tell me what her time was?
Saran2006-03-10 16:32:48
I've gone for like 12 hours i think, that about it...

18 hrs, 19 minutes in the first one ... then I signed off for maybe a half hour and got back on again for influencing, the second one shows an additional 4 hrs, 15ish minutes at the end of that influencing, but I stayed around longer still.
Only up at 11 hrs, 23 minutes at the moment, but I should really get going soon.
Terenas2006-03-10 20:17:33
You need help, Tsuki, and sleep, but that's for the weak.
Emilynn2006-03-10 21:03:30
My highest was when I was housesitting and just forced Emilynn back from dormancy. Spent two days STRAIGHT getting her back up to parr so....49 hours or so, with only microwaved popcorn and bathroom breaks.
For achaea, my highest was only 28 hours or so.

now... THAT is scary. and impressive. and... don't anyone EVER accuse me of playing too much Lusternia.
(I think my "record" is somewhere around 6 hours. definitely no more than 8)
