Sylphas is correct , True though the only afflictions you need to worry about from an axe lord are the low level stuns, slit lock and behead nothing else is really deadly, On the other hand against ixion I dont have to worry about any wounds at all just the damage, if he was an axe lord i'd have stuns to deal with, Im not saying axelords are overpowered im saying they seem better for damage than blademasters. I just think ixion would be better off going axelord than blademaster for the damage then he dosnt just have damage he has stuns to back his damage up as well.

Bonecrushers are the stunwhores, not axelords.

Axelords can go go through shield rebounding and stun on the first hit.

Edit without using power.

Ixion effectivly pumps out near 2-3k damage at the moment with his lunges, add the chance for stuns on the first hit and cleave to help finish even if they shield whore he could probally kill almost most people with sweep sweep cleave.

Um all i got to say is fight Murphy and see what stuns feel like. If I went bonecrusher with some prenerf maces you would be really pissed. Also cleave can be parried and you can stance against it, my offence isnt all that great and your getting upset about a stun thats barely a second.

Also lets talk about Ixions swords I dont think his precision is that high but lets just say someone had a sword with decent precision and good strength, blademaster afflictions are scary, soon as the impale and pinlegs get going your going to bleed to death. In most of spars the reason why someone cant cure wounds fast enough is because there healing damage same can be applied for a blademaster. I would rather fight a axelord over a blademaster anyday I think you need to fight Lyco or something to get a good perspective on how much better there skills are and what they can really do.

Murphys a wounder, he gets stuns a a lot though high wounding, I never said axe lords are overpowered cyranus im not upset about your offence all I have been saying is about Ixion who was considering changing spec to be a better damage warrior, yes im not disagreing with you that pin leg is a very good and painfull affliction but Ixion will never get it on most people because if he gets to hit you enough for it you will be dead from damage, he is a pure heavy damage warrior, its not about you or what you can do people may have mentioned your name because you seem to be the only decent active axe lord around at the moment so your a good comparison. I agree with you that a high wounding blademaster is good and has a lot of nasty afflictions to play with but were not talking about wounders we were talking about damage warriors.

My point was a low wounding high damage warrior like Ixion dosnt get much out of being a blademaster, he gets no really low afflictions that hinder or stop the enemy from curing his damage, Ixion as a axelord would have equal damage to what he has now plus the chance for stun on almost every hit and even just a stun for about second is very good especially when comparing to what he is doing now.

Im just saying axelord damage warriors seem to come out better than blademaster damage warriors, you disagree?

You know guys when i was first a bonecrusher, we weren't stunwhores at ALL.

Knockdown used to be knock off balance and prone (to prevent restanding) but it was kinda buggy because i could keep doing knockdown while you were prone.

They changed it to stun and only be able to be done while the target is standing.

Breaknose never used to stun, in fact it had to be done on a swing, striking the head i remember used to pretty much do nothing at all.


Personally if i had my way we wouldn't be stunwhores at all, but no-one listens to me do they.

The previous point is rather moot now because:
1) I wouldn't get or want to waste the time trying to get the same stats as I currently have in damage.

2) I just got some amazing rapiers for when I hit titan and go wounding.

why not go wounding now and get practise for when you do get titan.
