And you can use their like that if gender is unknown, actually, though it's not commonly done in Lusternia since the gender is obvious.
It's technically improper to use 'their' this way. Officially you should say "his or her," though some english buffs have suggested creating new words for this like 'thon' or a few other stupid words. The bigger problem with this message, though, is that it says 'to' instead of 'too.
QUOTE(Sylphas)
I'm still surprised Serenwilde hasn't fully embraced anti-Astral RP now that we have a blatant reason to hate it, and not simply history. If I catch people being insane or heading to Astral, Sylphas is going to throw a fit.
Why is insanity a reason to hate it? Half of us are insane already, doesn't seem like we've got much to lose. If anything, it's more reason for us to go there!
Sylphas2006-03-06 05:28:36
Being crazy silly and being certifiably insane are different.

Lisaera DID say the wildnodes (specifically) were harmless, though...she didn't specify if that applied to the actual permanent nodes there but.
My recollection is a bit vague, but I think She said something more to the effect that there's no specific greater danger associated with wild nodes than with Astral in general, not that the wild nodes were perfectly harmless.
Back on topic, no other Healers or Astral-hunters adding much?
Shiri2006-03-06 15:39:09
Hmm...that's not what I remember, but she'll show up to beat me in a few minutes if I'm remembering wrong, so we'll find out soon.

Name another healer who has the skill.

ever thought of the possiblity that ou can use the skill once per X amount of time, to get rid of a small amount of thier insanity?
If it was an instant cure it would kind of remove the point of the insanity in astral.
And wasn't Viravain's "insanity" the reason seren hates glomdoring?

Part of it. If you think that's all of it, you haven't been paying ANY attention to the Seren/Glom relationship since the game started.

Considering it was my character that talked with Her and then brought it up, incorrectly phrased at first, on TMC. I've got to say that Tsuki’s got the core issue correct. The nodes are not more specifically harmful to us then other things we know about in the basin, that can harm/taint/kill us already. They aren’t 'harmless' and may in fact be doing harm to us, but not enough to make an Elder Goddess fret over it.

I'd like to endorse Tsuki's findings - I've never seen an impact other than highly to just neurotic which could have been chance.
I've also tried dogging insane people every few mins (not as obsessively as Tsuki) but with comparable results (i.e. none).
Can we petition for a divine revalation or does one of us need to bug this?
:EDIT:
No other healers at all?
Tsuki have you bugged this?
