the problem alaskar is you didn't heal your nose. If you did, you would have been fine.

I myself am an Katana wielding Aslaran. So far, I like it. I get to bleed people to death, and because I'm fast I can preform my attacks quicker.

The trick with using swords is keeping your opponent off balance, you have to vary your attacks. Blademasters focus more on cutting arteries. pureblades can do everthing blademasters can do, except they have an awesome power move.

Don't know if I want to stay pureblade however, I might want to switch to blademaster, except I already have a master weapon, and would hate to destroy it.

Pureblades can't do everything blademasters can, pureblades can't impale, pinleg, rend, disembowel and a couple of others two, pureblades do have a nice power attack 'assult' but blademasters have something similar called 'lunge'. All weapon specs have a power move.

not always. maybe for pureblades and axelords because most of your affliction come off of swings, but most of blademasters good affliction come off of jabs, save behead, but when I was a blademaster I never went for the behead just kept impaling/rend.

I was pureblader fir some time and i tell you purebladers is brong as hell compared to blademaster.

They only option is to: behead quick, so you need a lot of str and mad greatsword with huge wounding. But then people will start compaining that you behead too fast. But really pureblader cant kill you in other way.

I have no idea how Daevos is sticking with it for so long.

Blademasters ave really nice amount of tactics to kill opponent.

And Bonecrusher have few nice tactics too.

I have strange feeling that i will come back to blaemaster soon heh.

I hate not being able to make up my mind, but I'm thinking of going bonecrusher again. Because bonecrushers have to wound a body part before the effects happen, so as a Tae'dae with high damage flails, wounduing should come easy and the effects such as bloody nose and blackeye, etc. should happen more often.

Not always true, tae'dae's slow speed makes it hard to stack wounding or damage really.
Alaskar2006-04-27 20:11:04
I was thinking that if I did ( and keep in mind I've no idea how Lusternia keeps track of wounding ) 1000 points of wounding, and they cure only 700 points, then the wounding would stack up, right? and, if I can get their head to a bloodynose or blackeye on the first hit, wouldn't it be worth the slowness?
ferlas2006-04-27 20:28:05
That is how wounding works pretty much, but tae'dae are so slow and easy to slow and hinder that they dont get many hits in and if they do they are easy to slow down to give someone time to cure the wounds they have given.
