Once upon a time, there was a Lusternia radio. However, all you slackers were lazy DJs, and Alyssandra gave up for a while. However, a while back it came back as IRE radio. And now it's kinda slacking off again.

Anyhow, I'm going to make an effort to DJ more and harrass some others too as well, so come have a listen if you'd like to hear something different (currently, almost my entire mp3 collection is on shuffle, so about three days worth of anything from Cat Stevens and Blondie to Metallica and Disturbed. Other DJs like Nym play a completely different kind of music. Anyhow, come have a listen, and request some music (personally, if I don't have it, I'll get it) and chat in the (presently quite small) IRC room.

Seriously, listen. We went down from between 30 and 10 listeners in a month. If you're lucky, you might even catch a repeat of Rubby Fuckies, or various DJs doing karoake. It's Totally Super Awesomeâ„¢. IRE Radio - we're idiots, and we have great music.

IDJC, its great for under linux....there is also the default shoutcast for all Unixs but its.... not as good

We hardly have any DJs (ironically, almost all of our DJs are Lusternian again, which might as well make it IRE radio. People like Dji/Cambreed/Talkaze stopped DJing so now it's just us.)

Hmm.. All I need it Shoutcast Radio Tools, and something to rip mp3s from cds and I'll do it gladly...but all I have in the way of US music is Korn and Rob Zombie and such. And all I have in the way of UK tunes is Dogs die in Hot Cars. and...for China I have lots and lots of Wang LEe Holm. Anyone know a good Mp3 getting tool?

For linux get IDJC rather than using the shoutcast default one. Nothing wrong with playing Asian music, its nice to have the variety. You can stream OGG, and you use Ubuntu, I am sure there is a program that comes with Ubuntui that rips to OGG

Oh and Ialie, I have PMed you the password.

I am now sadly stuck on windows98SE until I find a way to put Ubuntu back on, or switch to something else.

EDIT: Yea there might be something wrong with Asian music... lots of people would complain about how they want music they can understand... and SOMEONE will surely smart off like "Your in AMERICA now...play AMERICAN music" at which point, I would explode.
